Parentally named Bruce Clyde Steel. And there is a bit of divine wordplay in the names.
In 2005 I was told four things.
1. An overcomer of Pergamos see Rev. 2:11-17.
2. Given the commission and commandment "lead My people home".
3. Given the new name Jepethiel (Y'pet'El in Hebrew) - his Saviour has opened the Way to El (Elohim).
4. That my name would be as the 'rod of Moses' after asking God, like Moses did, "How will they believe that You have sent me?"

Yes, and may the Lord be on the centre of your heart in the holiday time.
Although I will mention that I think Jesus was born in September, and it was the Roman Emperor Commodious who made Dec 25th, the birthday of sol the Roman Sun god, the official day of celebrating Jesus birth, circa 320AD.
I would encourage you in the faith, because faith is trust in the evidence that God gives you concerning Himself,

And may I ask you if you could do two things
1. Ask the Lord for a word or short phrase that is descriptive of the year to come.
2. Could you tell me this...
My main concern in Christian life is ...
a) Trying to support and encourage others to ' Go for it in the service of Jesus?
b) Making sure that others are defended from those who attack them verbally (and if needful, physically)?
c) A concern that others are 'Getting their act together'?
d) Telling others about Jesus and His love for them and His care for them to change the darkness of their circumstances?

Your answers will help me get a handle on whether you have a headship ministry calling.

Briefly though there are four main ways people interpret scriptures. And each of them is basically through the lens of their calling in Jesus the Christ.
The problem however, is that many allow insidious lies from the enemy to Lead them into a pride based and very territorial defensive position, 'That is my view, and that is that!' Sadly a rather myopic viewpoint if I do say so.
May the Lord keep you from such folly in '24.

And the new (Rev. 2:17) name is kind of neat. It packs every doctrine of scripture into a single word the succinctly describes the reason Jesus went to the cross.
Translation: his Saviour HAS OPENED< the way to El (Elohim). The uppercase bold part is the Hebrew verb patah (Strong, H6605), which means to open (something), verbs require an object to act on (see Jn. 12:2; re the GATE of the sheepcote).
Hope that this encourages you, 'Oh beloved daughter of the Lord'.
