Oversimplification. Gaza has received vast amounts of money, most of which has gone to Hamas to fund their terror organisation. Hamas attacked Israel almost as soon as they were elected to rule Gaza. Hamas does not recognise the right of Israel to exist. That's hardly a basis for peaceful relationships. Gaza could be prosperous. They surely have had enough resources. Israel allowed 18,000 Gazans to work in Israel. Those workers provided intelligence to Hamas which allowed them to choose the softest targets.

Gaza could become economically independent. Israel would welcome a peaceful neighbour instead of a hotbed of strife. It won't happen because the Arabs are descended from Ishmael and conflict is in their genetic makeup. Can Arabs and Israelis co-exist? Sure. 25% of Israel's population is Arab. Most are Muslim. They are free to worship their "Allah", who is Satan in reality. There has been a mass exodus of Jews from most of the world and Jews in the majority of Muslim countries are almost unheard of. The reason is simple. Jews are persecuted in Muslim countries but Muslims have not been driven out of Israel.

Americans should consider China a threat because it is a threat. And the good ole USA enabled the rise of China, vainly believing that China would adopt democracy and become a model world citizen. I like the Chinese people. They are smart, hard working and friendly. Their rulers, not so much. China has outwitted the West. Australia is having to spend inordinate amounts on defence because successive governments failed to recognise China's ambitions. China manipulates Australia with ease. They send students here to learn and to steal IP. They negotiate deals then refuse ships permission to unload their cargoes. The only thing unaffected is iron ore. They use this to make steel for ships that threaten the peace of South East Asia.

Around 40 years ago, there was a joke going around about a predictive computer. It was asked who would be Australia's prime minister in the distant future. After hours of processing, the answer came. They asked the IT guy, "What does it say?" He replied, "I can't read it. It's in Chinese". It does not seem so funny now.
"Oversimplification" when you completely exclude the full story from being told. You tell it with absolute zero objectivity.

As for the rest of your long winded post, it's just a repeat of some things I actually agree with mixed with some flat out inaccuracies. We can't even come to an agreement about the Nakba... You think Palestinians weren't murdered, displaced, or kicked out of their homes in spite of both sides saying this happened. You acknowledge it's currently going on right now, but that God promised the land to the Jews so it's justifiable to kick Palestinians out of their homes in the West Bank and East Jerusalem. It's insanity to believe such a thing. I don't think we will get anywhere unless we can agree on historical facts and that just because God promised the land to the Jews, does not mean homes and all the possessions of Palestinians within the land also belong to Jews.

Actually, I've seen more queers support Israel as they remind the world how "Israel is the only nation in the Middle East to support LGBT rights". Crazy enough, proclaiming Christians repeat the same garbage as if God is pleased with it.
At least queers will not be putting their lives at risk if they go to Israel. Homosexuality is sin. It's not unforgivable, but neither is it tolerable any more than adultery. Jesus came to set the captives free, not to gloss over sin.

Do you ever stop to look at the extent of the land promised to Abraham and his descendants? Do you know the extent of the land promised to Israel by the British (Balfour Declaration)? The British had control of Palestine, so they had the right to give it to the Jews. What Jews ended up with was far less than they were promised. Arabs can coexist with Jews as the current population of Israel demonstrates. "Palestinians" (there is no such thing in reality) don't want coexistence. They will be satisfied only with a single, Palestinian state. That's the bottom line. Yes, there have been injustices on both sides. Jews initially purchased land from Palestinians. Some Palestinians objected and some violently. This was in the 1920's.

The Palestinians who are now "refugees" voluntarily left Israel at the start of the 1948 war. This was at the behest of the 5 nation invading forces. Not all the Arabs left. Israel rightly surmised that letting those who left Israel to return was a bad idea. The Oslo accords were intended to sort the land rights out in the West Bank. The PLA rejected the deal. Israel handed back the Sinai to Egypt as Egypt signed a peace accord and recognised Israel. Israel unilaterally handed Gaza over to the Gazans. Israeli settlements were bulldozed to push Israelis out. Look how that turned out.

The starting point is Ishmael and Isaac. Ishmael is the child of the flesh, Isaac the child of God's promise. Russia/Ukraine is quite simple. Russia invaded a sovereign nation. They had no right to do so. End of story.

Again your ignorance of history is obvious. Israel is a nation according to international law, as proclaimed by the UN. You don't have to like it, but it's the truth. Do you know how America gained its independence? How about the evils of slavery? Where do you live? In cuckoo land, obviously. Nations have been fought over, blood has been shed and injustices done since early human history. You seem to think that it excuses Hamas. I wonder how you would respond if your country was attacked by an aggrieved neighbour. Some sources suggest Russia want Alaska back. Do you support them in that? How about the Mexican lands illegally taken by America? Should they be handed back?

You seem to be contradicting yourself - it’s OK for Israel to take back the land which they have had no control for centuries - why should others not get their land back - it all comes down to power / influence - British mandate and influence at the time. UN also give them the right to self-determination & the right to armed struggle against occupation - I presume you agree to that!

Ishamel - arguably he is also the seed of Abraham - so they should also be entitled to the land - if promised (albeit that’s a misreading of the text)

Israel is the regathering of the scattered according to God's promise. God did not say that they would be some kind of righteous beacon on the earth. They blew that when they crucified Lord Jesus. There are many Jews who have accepted Christ as the Messiah. They are born again and acceptable God in the Beloved.

Israelis are no more or no less righteous than any other unbeliever. However, the nation stands as a silent witness to God's power to fulfill His word no matter what. And that is why the "goat" world hates Israel. That's all. And that's why I support Israel, because the nation exists according to God's will. Could they do better in the conduct of the war? Probably. They are human, not machines. No doubt revenge colours some judgements. That does not make the actions of Hamas acceptable or warrant the condemnation of the whole world. When you get queers supporting Hamas, you know something is desperately wrong. Hamas would kill them, after falling about laughing at their stupidity.

I won't tire of repeating this: Israel is being held to an impossible standard that no other nation has to attain. And not one realistic proposition has been put forward to end the war on a just footing. There is no possibility of a two state solution. No one is prepared even to send peacekeepers to Gaza. The UN peacekeepers in Lebanon do nothing to limit Hezbollah's aggression. Why are they there? And the useful idiots of the West fund the UN to make demands and to pass taxpayer's funds to terrorists.

Satan is still the god of this world. He still lies, deceives and murders. He still blinds the perishing. I expect nothing from the world. I'd hoped for better from some Christians.

Modern day Israel is not prophetic, simple as that, it was brought to fruition by the machinations of evil men.

Israel would welcome a peaceful neighbour instead of a hotbed of strife.

They want all the land to themselves, having undermined every peaceful resolution developed and according to international law.

If they were interested in sharing the land they would not have embarked on ethnic cleansing in 1948.

Wrong again, they were forced out of their homes, driven out, so yes some preferred to have a tent over their heads and left rather that live on the streets.

I wonder if it is because this is prophetic and essential to their misunderstanding of scripture so they cannot be objective.

Modern day Israel is not prophetic
Ohhhh yes it is. Absolutely.

Ezekiel 37 (NKJV) - The hand of the LORD (blueletterbible.org)

Jer 33:24
“Have you not considered what these people have spoken, saying, ‘The two families which the LORD has chosen, He has also cast them off’? Thus they have despised My people, as if they should no more be a nation before them.
Jer 33:25
“Thus says the LORD: ‘If My covenant is not with day and night, and if I have not appointed the ordinances of heaven and earth,
Jer 33:26
‘then I will cast away the descendants of Jacob and David My servant, so that I will not take any of his descendants to be rulers over the descendants of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. For I will cause their captives to return, and will have mercy on them.’ ”

Isa 43:1
But now, thus says the LORD, who created you, O Jacob,
And He who formed you, O Israel:
“Fear not, for I have redeemed you;
I have called you by your name;
You are Mine.
Isa 43:2
When you pass through the waters, I will be with you;
And through the rivers, they shall not overflow you.
When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned,
Nor shall the flame scorch you.

Isa 44:21
“Remember these, O Jacob,
And Israel, for you are My servant;
I have formed you, you are My servant;
O Israel, you will not be forgotten by Me!
Isa 44:22
I have blotted out, like a thick cloud, your transgressions,
And like a cloud, your sins.
Return to Me, for I have redeemed you.”
Isa 44:23
Sing, O heavens, for the LORD has done it!
Shout, you lower parts of the earth;
Break forth into singing, you mountains,
O forest, and every tree in it!
For the LORD has redeemed Jacob,
And glorified Himself in Israel.

And yes, God is right on time as usual. To the very split second. Yes this is far beyond your pay grade, but I am posting the link for the other believing souls out there who actually care about God's prophetic word.

God promised the land to the Jews................ It's insanity to believe such a thing.
On the contrary.....it is insane to NOT believe it. Because God describes this to be His will. Hundreds of times.

BTW....you should just listen to the way you talk once in a while. Just some friendly advice.

This guy gets hate from both sides for being objective and stating truths. He clearly states that Israel has the right to defend itself but also states that this is far beyond defense. He mentions the 3 Israeli hostages who were executed by the IDF as an example of the routine indiscriminate attacking on the Palestinian people.

Have a listen if you have a few minutes.

I could add ellipses to a statement of someone saying "I am not gay!" and make it sound like he is admitting to being gay... "I am .... gay!"

If you want to have an honest discussion, please reread what I said is insanity. Explicitly, I'm saying to think that the homes and possessions of Palestinians living in the promised land, in particular the West Bank and Eastern Jerusalem, belong to Jews is insane. I'm going to assume this was a genuine mistake on your part and look forward to you acknowledging it. If you stand behind it, then you're showing your cards that you aren't trying to have a good faithed dialogue about it but are instead trying to deceive people by making it sound like I'm saying something that I'm not.

Here is the original quote:

You acknowledge it's currently going on right now, but that God promised the land to the Jews so it's justifiable to kick Palestinians out of their homes in the West Bank and East Jerusalem. It's insanity to believe such a thing.

When you have come under false teaching truth can only be revealed to those who earnestly seek it.
Oh but I do have it. The amils and replacement theology kooks? Not so much.

Your problem: I have proven my case beyond in this public forum beyond the slightest doubt.
While you lurk in the shadows casting aspersions and innuendo.

I have absolutely no idea at all whether it is justifiable or not. I am no mans judge.
All that I do know for certain is that the land grant to Abraham is eternal and perpetual and unilateral on God's part.
Abraham had no performance or works requirement whatsoever.

So deal with the MESSAGE.
Which is excellent!

Do you really think that because God promised Israel to the Jews it means that the commandments of not murdering Palestinians and stealing their homes within the West Bank and East Jerusalem is suddenly a gray zone for you? You are uncertain about what God says about those sins?

Let's pretend we live in a world where everyone, including the Palestinians, accept and acknowledge Israel as the rightful owner and ruler of the West Bank and East Jerusalem. You are saying you don't know if it's justifiable for Jews and/or Israelis to murder and steal homes and possessions from the Palestinians that live within Israel? Anywho who isn't a Jew can be subject to death and/or having all possessions taken away by Israelis Jews "because God gave Jews the land"? You asked me earlier if I "listen to myself". Brother, are you listening to yourself?

You sound like one of those Christians who defends actively gay people as "Christians". You pretend the bible isn't clear on what it has to say about the sin of homosexuality when really you know very well it's a sin. Jews can be promised the land, but God didn't promise them Palestinian homes and personal possessions! God doesn't say it's okay to murder Palestinians living in the promise land! Get real!
