I really like this answer.I can't say God doesn't love people. But neither can I say that people in hell aren't separated from that love.

I don't mean to butt in. If I am being obtrusive, let me know. I find this fascinating. The Love(s) of God.I agree. Even the concept of an eternal burning hell was intended only for Satan. But we both know more than just Satan and the fallen Angels will be there. Don't you think those humans that end up with Satan and the Fallen Angels God loves?
Very insightful. I love this explanation.I don't mean to butt in. If I am being obtrusive, let me know. I find this fascinating. The Love(s) of God.
I believe He loves them, including satan and the fallen angels. He loved us even as unsaved/ungodly/enemies, we were separated from Him. God is love, so He loves based upon who and what He is. It is based upon His character and nature. It is not dependent on who we are or what we do....impersonal,unconditional love.Agape love.
And they will forever be separated from that love. I know it's conjecture, but I believe one aspect of hell is KNOWING this fact.(He loves me and I rejected it.)
With the believer, He has personal love for us. A friendship, a intimate love....Christ in us. Philia love.
When they had finished breakfast, Jesus said to Simon Peter, “Simon, son of John, do you love me — agape love — more than these?” He said to him, “Yes, Lord; you know that I love you — phileo love–.” He said to him, “Feed my lambs.” He said to him a second time, “Simon, son of John, do you love me — agape love — ?” He said to him, “Yes, Lord; you know that I love you — phileo love –.” He said to him, “Tend my sheep.” He said to him the third time, “Simon, son of John, do you love me — phileo love –?” Peter was grieved because he said to him the third time, “Do you love me? — phileo love –” and he said to him, “Lord, you know everything; you know that I love you — phileo love –.” Jesus said to him, “Feed my sheep. (John 21.15–17)
Same here. It's been a wonderful ride! When we read the details the Bible gives us in how Jesus created Satan. It's obvious Jesus loved what He did even knowing how it would turn out. Reminds me of Judas. God gives them ample amounts of chances even knowing how they would turn out. But like Nehemiah posted a few pages back. Judas made his own choices. Satan made his own choices. People in hell made their own choices. We who follow Jesus made our own choices. Best decision I have ever and will ever make.
him new member uncle Mike he is the watchers the so called police officer who tells people to defile themselvesWho was banned? .![]()
I am applying how it would be possible to fall away from God. Sin Nature is why people are doomed for LoF to begin with. Makes sense then that sin is what makes us fall away from God.
So what is the outcome of unconfessed sin?
I understand your stance buddy, and it's a good oneThe verses here do seem on their face to teach a believer can lose their salvation. But this is not what is being taught.
I have no problem explaining the verses, but if someone believes there is no security in Christ, they will simply reject the explanation. It won't agree with what they believe. Unless their underlying belief is considered, all the explanations in the world won't make a difference.
I find it helpful when I am opened up within my own assumptions. Others might too.
Is your position that merely confessing we do sin is what verse 9 means?
Answer no.
And that in doing so, all our sins are forgiven?
answer no
And as I posted earlier, I was employing the term unconfessed sin to juxtapose it to confessed sin. I never claimed it was in the Bible or that it was supported in scripture.
answer ok
And my point was something you assent to...
there are sins that one has done they do not even know they have done, yet are saved, died, and did not confess those sins. This is not the answer some gave.
ok
I also went on to show the reason from Chapter 2 why this is so.
So as best as I can understand, you're not quibbling with my conclusion, but how I got there. Is this your point?
He is not banned.him new member uncle Mike he is the watchers the so called police officer who tells people to defile themselves
He ain't no police officer and if he is I feal sorry for the police force
I see. And I appreciate you bearing with me until I understood your point. I'll give this some consideration.I can agree with that. Many will (not suggest you are) will address the OSAS vs losing one's salvation at the expense of the whole word of God.
The context of sin in the Bible is all have sinned and fallen short. All.
If you confess it or not. Salvation is Jesus paying the price for the one who is guilty of sin( all) AND has placed their faith in the work of Jesus on the Cross, death, and resurrection to be saved.
I see. And I appreciate you bearing with me until I understood your point. I'll give this some consideration.
And it's a good point. We should be careful to make sure we don't corrupt the word of God in our zeal to defend it.
I agree with this. A true believer will never be separated from the love of God in Christ Jesus. When we are walking in the Spirit, we enjoy the great blessing of God's presence and the attendant peace and joy. When we sin we lose our fellowship and communion with God and the joy and peace that comes with abiding in Him. But we do not lose our relationship.Perhaps sins, where there is no repentance and no confession, brings about a loss of joy and close fellowship with our Father? In Psalm 52:12, David, when he had sinned, cried out to God, “Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation.” David wasn’t concerned that he lost his salvation; he wanted to be restored and he knew that only God could do this. David pleads, “Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean: wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow. Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.”
Corrupting was too strong a word. Mishandling was what I was thinking.I want to be clear and respectful. I do not think you were or are corrupting the word of God.
That would be a very serious thing to say. I do disagree and have been wrong many times and say often I could be wrong even if I think I am not. You will not hear many say that; however, it is solely up to the individual to study and see for themselves..
Zeal is goodAnd so is passion.
We know you reported me because the agency has been ip pinged and we know where the signal is coming from. It's a routed ping, attempting to be disguised, but we know specifically where it originates from. That is an act of terrorism. What do You think we should do about it?My guess uncle Mike is either Jimmy the lock or the watchers but I favour the the watchers
if your going to say your a police officer publicly then you should show your idWe know you reported me because the agency has been ip pinged and we know where the signal is coming from. It's a routed ping, attempting to be disguised, but we know specifically where it originates from. That is an act of terrorism. What do You think we should do about it?
