Of course it does. I'm asking is forgiveness conditioned upon confession. In other words, if a sin is not confessed, is that sin forgiven? If not, are there any eternal consequences for the unconfessed sin?
Acts 17:30 KJV
And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent:

But when a righteous person turns away from his righteousness and does injustice and does the same abominations that the wicked person does, shall he live?

When a righteous person turns away from his righteousness and does injustice, he shall die for it; for the injustice that he has done he shall die.

He turns away from his own righteousness...not God's righteousness. It's the nature of sin to become more and more sinful and the nature of the self-righteous to allow for it.

Those Verses are talking about the Lord's righteousness.

Inspired by the Holy Spirit to Ezekiel the Prophet.
Because the verses are inspired doesn't mean it isn't talking about self-righteousness. What are the specific verses: Ezekiel what?

This is God talking here. 18:
30 Therefore I will judge you, O house of Israel, every one according to his ways, saith the Lord GOD. Return ye, and turn yourselves from all your transgressions; so shall they not be a stumblingblock of iniquity unto you
31 Cast away from you all your transgressions, wherein ye have transgressed; and make you a new heart and a new spirit; for why will ye die, O house of Israel?
32 For I have no pleasure in the death of him that dieth, saith the Lord GOD; wherefore turn yourselves, and live.

Those verses don't say what you claimed. Why would they need new hearts and spirits if they possessed God's righteousness?

Because the Verses before them explain a Sinner coming to God and becoming righteous. Which is why God goes deeper into explanation in Verse 26 When the righteous man turneth away from his righteousness, and committeth iniquity, he shall die therefor; for his iniquity that he hath done shall he die.

Why didn't you give me those verses when I asked? I'll check them out later?

I made a mistake by thinking you were aware of them.
I am vaguely, but I didn't realize they were under consideration. So I worked from the ones you presented. I'm happy to look at the larger passage.

I should have began with these first.

21 But if the wicked turn from all his sins that he hath committed, and keep all My statutes, and do that which is lawful and right, he shall surely live, he shall not die.

22 None of his transgressions that he hath committed shall be remembered against him; for his righteousness that he hath done he shall live.

... to the Verse I began with > 24 But when the righteous turneth away from his righteousness, and committeth iniquity, and doeth according to all the abominations that the wicked man doeth, shall he live? None of his righteous deeds that he hath done shall be remembered; for his trespass that he trespassed, and for his sin that he hath sinned, for them shall he die.

1 John 1:9 KJV
If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

No confess
No forgive
Then we're all in trouble. Everyone has unconfessed sin. What's going to happen to us?

Are you born again of Gods Holy Spirit?
Are you daily walking with
the LORD JESUS, feeding on Him through His word, and living in accordance to His Word?

If so, you will be immediately convicted of failure.
Your sorrow, contrite heart and repentance is there, and the blood of sprinkling.

Ephesians 5:27 KJV
That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.

Hebrews 12:22-24 KJV
But ye are come unto mount Sion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels,

[23] To the general assembly and church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect,

[24] And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than that of Abel.

If your past sin has been forgiven and settled, then
Start confessing to God, daily.

All daily accounts must be settled.
❤️ 🎶cleansed by the blood of the crucified one🎵

1 Corinthians 15:31 KJV
I protest by your rejoicing which I have in Christ Jesus our Lord, I die daily.
