He did make a distinction between repentance and confession which I do believe is a good distinction. I was using the terms synonymously. I do believe the Lord's prayer is referring to confession like what is found in 1 John 2.

It doesn't, but we are taught in the prayer to pray daily and it's part of the prayer. It is definitely implied.
We probably should confess more than just daily.

And he sees someone claim He said to repent daily. Yet he can not show where He actually said that. So he is being misrepresented.

All the truly redeemed obey. But the motivation isn't to stay saved. Rather, it is a product of the love of God being shed abroad in our hearts.
