Not sure what the word means exactly because I haven't studied it. But my response was in terms of how it was previously used by the poster. And it was merely an attempt to qualify a previous answer.
The point I was making is that true repentance is a result of a Godly sorrow. It seems you agree.

Again, it's not my point. I was working from a series of posts and trying to understand what I thought was an inconsistency. It has since been resolved.

You only assume from that I meant what you want it to mean.

This whole topic is about quenching the Holy Spirit and God said when we do that we don't produce fruit. And He cuts off the Branch that doesn't produce fruit.

So I ask you why did Jesus Command daily repentance.

Stop reading into something not there.

I am still waiting for you to show us this quote of Jesus in scripture.

You only assume from that I meant what you want it to mean.

I would not worry about me, and worry about why you can not show me Jesus literal words. repent Daily) and think because someone posted a passage, it proves you right, when if you followed along. you would see it was not true.. The word repent was no where in the words. The only thing that was DAILY in the lords prayer, was give us our daily bread.
 
Context is key again.

When a whole group of believers is being addressed, what happens to the whole group does not necessarily happen to each individual. For eg.. the Holy Spirit leaving a church.. that is not individual's losing eternal life.

There is also the Holy Spirit blessing an office.. such as with David praying about the Holy Spirit not being taken from him.. that is about his kingship.. not his salvation. And Saul was most likely never saved (unless he converted later) having been taken over by an evil spirit.. but his position as king was blessed by God.

So the question is who is being addressed? Who do you apply it to?

Another example is the quote of blasphemy not being forgiven. The context around this is the JEWS...Pharisees and Scribes.. committing blasphemy by rejecting who Jesus is to begin with. It's not about believers rejecting salvation after being converted.

Who is talking to whom?

What is the subject?

What is the occasion for speaking?

You gotta ask these questions of the passages.
