Matthew 6...the Lord's prayerPlease post the scripture that jesus says to repent daily
did you pay for your sin or Jesus? You keep making this point and I remember you giving the example of Jesus' prayer, "Our Father," when He was asked to show them how to pray and assume this is where you've formed your opinion that we must repent daily and supposed because of the mention of "daily bread." You've also frequently referenced the forgiveness portion of Jesus' example of prayer, which is written, "forgive our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors." Do you consider our sin to be our debt?
or have you derived this from Jesus' extrapolation afterwards in Matt 6:14 saying, "For if you forgive men their trespasses, your Heavenly Father will also forgive you."?
did you pay for your sin or Jesus?
sin is a debt.
each time we sin we nail Jesus back to the Cross.
Jesus is never returning to the cross. Either it's finished or He quit. Either way, He's sitting on a throne, and has canceled all plans for a sequel.did you pay for your sin or Jesus?
sin is a debt.
each time we sin we nail Jesus back to the Cross.
it's merely something to be reminded of because Paul said he tries to be like Jesus.I've heard others claim this same opinion, and they offer the verse about putting Christ to an open shame. But this interpretation of that verse implies that we put Him to shame daily...![]()
Jesus said I will never die..There is definitely a strong assertion that there is a condition attached to salvation here.
SorryMatthew 6...the Lord's prayer
Jesus did, 2000 years ago. He died for every sin I have commited. Am commiting and will commit.did you pay for your sin or Jesus?
sin is a debt.
each time we sin we nail Jesus back to the Cross.
They put him to open shame by claiming we can fall away..I've heard others claim this same opinion, and they offer the verse about putting Christ to an open shame. But this interpretation of that verse implies that we put Him to shame daily...![]()
it's obviously clear if you commit the same sins over and over you really did not repent.Sorry
I do not see the word repent in matt 6
Lolit's obviously clear if you commit the same sins over and over you really did not repent.
repent means never do them again.
the biblical concept of repentance is more than saying sorry. To repent means to rearrange your entire way of thinking, feeling and being in order to forsake that which is wrong.Lol
No, repent means you admit to God that it is a sin. Because before you came to Christ, you did not think it was a sin.. you thought it was ok
You must be perfect.. Because using your example above. You must not have truly repented..
The word repent means to change ones mind. It has nothing to do with feeling sorry..the biblical concept of repentance is more than saying sorry. To repent means to rearrange your entire way of thinking, feeling and being in order to forsake that which is wrong.
Who said it was ok to sin?now we know why you believe it's ok to sin while being Saved, you don't know what it actually is to Repent.
that post you quoted begins with: the biblical concept of repentance is more than saying sorryThe word repent means to change ones mind. It has nothing to do with feeling sorry..
Before you came to Christ. You thought you were your own God. You were not that bad of a person, you did not need saved. Or whatever you thought,,
When you repent you change you thinking.. stand this change of heart is what leads to faith..
we all commit the same sin generally over and over like its a thorn in our side.Who said it was ok to sin?
dude, you are out there. You keep making remarks which are not true
You need to look inside at yourself. Why do you act the way you do when people do not agree with you? That is not from God.
that post you quoted begins with: the biblical concept of repentance is more than saying sorry
