Thank you. I apologize if I made it seem like it was wrong. I just wanted to express that the more you try and nothing happens, if you find yourself getting super frustrated then maybe you should relax some because it never feels good to be constantly frustrated.

Also there's a LOT of life out there to live. If you focus too much on that one thing you don't have, all the rest of life will pass on by.

This morning life is a dark chocolate coated marzipan log. Yum! I can enjoy that whether I'm single or married.

Actually... I might be enjoying it MORE as a single guy. If I was married my wife might nag me about my health and sugar and stuff.

The process of frustration is indeed frustrating. For sure, if you don't at least try nothing will happen.

Pray for God to give you the courage, strength, and wisdom to get through each day.

As far as for God to provide for you a helpmate, you just never know who you are going to meet. I was frustrated and lonely when I first joined this site but then, one day, I met my future wife here who is also a member. She was and still is a blessing from God. We got married the same year in 2014 and a few days ago celebrated our 9th anniversary.

I pray that God provides a helpmate for you too if that is the desire of your heart. Keep trying and never give up. God is certainly not going to give up on you.

Maybe that's why I'm single. A lynx is very difficult to domesticate. Doesn't take training well at all.

Truly, thank you! Faith without works is most certainly dead :). I haven’t given up, but I certainly have slowed down. I’m not frustrating myself like I did before.

I love your story as well! Glad you were able to find someone even through this. I found this because my daughter was sick and I just wanted to pass the time off a long night ahead. Glad I joined though! It’s definitely filled with like minded people!

this doesnt comfort women ...its really a verse for men.

Helpful men are few and far between I have found. They tend put themselves first. Apparently its Gods order, men were created first then women, and there is nothing you can do about it. If you happen to be a firstborn female, you are likely to be usurped by your younger brother lol

I look at it as instructions when you are in a flight. Should there be any complications, put on your mask first so that you can better assist the one you are carrying. Men need to be prepared for women. That’s why it’s often hard to find. It’s as if there are fewer in church now. At least where I’m from.

They arent most of them were killed by the wars since it was decided they should go fight and kill each other to 'protect' women and children, leaving them alone and by themselves at home. If they even had a home.

Sure you can marry a man but whether they are going to be helpful or not depends.
and vice versa for women.

Otherwise most people would marry the first person they see right?

One other thing christians seem to forget we are in New Testament times now, and things have changed. If they keep citing Genesis saying we have to go forth and multiply you have to remind them gently that earth is getting a little overcrowded in many places.

I don't either. Marriage seems to be a constant learning process. No regrets though.

If the earth is flat, as some claim, the overcrowding will eventually push them off the edge.

I have heard some people want to live on Mars. Not sure why but another planet seems like a good idea for some. Venus too.
