they are already in a Eternally Damned Condition. so they are already going to the same place as those who "do not" Abide in Christ. So then, do you reckon that if a person never comes to the Lord to be saved, none of this applies to them?![]()

all i can find: is the WARNING if YOU DO NOT ABIDE you end up in FIRE
4 abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abide in the vine, so neither can you, unless you abide in me.
5 I am the vine, you the branches. He that abides in me and I in him, he bears much fruit; for without me you can do nothing.
6 If any one abide not in me, he is cast out as the branch and withers, and they gather it and throw it into the fire, and it is burned.
so, how do we ABIDE?
daily asking for FORGIVENESS is how!

How do you know he didn't have one?Well opinions are like belly buttons... everyone has one but Adam!
AMEN!!Just today I had the idea that, like David, when an Elect person sins, he will repent because God has already given us that repentance. When we repent, it’s like a sorrowful apology (like David’s prayer). We want to be restored to being a good kid again. “Please erase that page in your book, Father. …only You can wash me and make me clean again. …please, Father, don’t be mad at me anymore.”
To the Chief Musician. A Psalm of David when Nathan the prophet went to him, after he had gone in to Bathsheba. Have mercy upon me, O God, According to Your lovingkindness; According to the multitude of Your tender mercies, Blot out my transgressions. Wash me thoroughly from my iniquity, And cleanse me from my sin. For I acknowledge my transgressions, And my sin is always before me. Against You, You only, have I sinned, And done this evil in Your sight—That You may be found just when You speak, And blameless when You judge. Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean; Wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow. Make me hear joy and gladness, That the bones You have broken may rejoice. Hide Your face from my sins, And blot out all my iniquities. Create in me a clean heart, O God, And renew a steadfast spirit within me. Do not cast me away from Your presence, And do not take Your Holy Spirit from me. Restore to me the joy of Your salvation, And uphold me by Your generous Spirit.
- Psalm 51:1-4,7-12
AMEN!!As true-blue Christians, we will try to abide perfectly, but of course at times, we will mess up. So naturally, we feel sorrowful and we repent of our sins and ask our Father in Heaven to please forgive us.
You would have the greatest compassion for your brethren who were still struggling, there are teachings that enlighten and help us to walk in holiness and there are teachings that just dump on the weaker brethren and throw them into utter despair and hopelessness.

If this is so, everyone everywhere is lost everyday. Noone abides at all times. Since this is not the case according to you as we are only saved once, abiding reflects our relational position to God: in fellowship or out of fellowship. This doesn't affect our positional reality: in Christ or not in Christ.if the ONLY WAY to REMAIN or ABIDE is by asking for Forgiveness, and this POSITIONALLY separates and Damages the Relationship to God when no Forgiveness is asked for, how do you think you're Saved?
you sin, you no longer Abide.
where in the Bible, does it say, when YOU DO NOT ABIDE, you are still Saved?
God, is ALL KNOWING, correct? If this is so, everyone everywhere is lost everyday. Noone abides at all times. No one not in Christ has fellowship with God. Those in Christ have fellowship as they abide. A Christian out of fellowship doesn't lose their position in Christ; only its benefits.
I'm saying these are 2 different aspects of relationship. One deals with either being in relationship to God or not. The other deals with those who are in relationship to God. They are either in fellowship or out of fellowship.I think I’m beginning to understand. True believers/the Elect have already been predestined and justified before the foundation of the world. Yes?
For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren. Moreover whom He predestined, these He also called; whom He called, these He also justified; and whom He justified, these He also glorified.
- Romans 8:29-30
Why do you assume someone who disobeys God as a practice were ever saved?God, is ALL KNOWING, correct?
so, He KNOWS, what your true intentions are.
if God, knows your true intentions are to Abide in Him, mistakes and all, and He knows your Faithful to repent, He will show you Grace and Mercy.
but, if you have a mind, that looks at Scripture and reasons it, he KNOWS, what you're doing.
you are NOT DOING as He Commanded.
So, why should He give Grace and Mercy to someone not willing to Obey Him?
Yep, just like I said above. Why are you arguing?I'm saying these are 2 different aspects of relationship. One deals with either being in relationship to God or not. The other deals with those who are in relationship to God. They are either in fellowship or out of fellowship.
For all men....in Christ or not.
For believers...in fellowship or not
There is no fellowship between light and darkness. Believers are translated out of the kingdom of darkness into the kingdom of light. Only believers can have fellowship with God. But for believers, sin inhibits fellowship. Confession restores it.
At no time are believers transferred back to the kingdom of darkness.
don't you believe Obeying God is a works? Why do you assume someone who disobeys God as a practice were ever saved?
Yes, God knows His Elect. He has known them for a very, very long time.God, is ALL KNOWING, correct?

AMEN!!Yes, God knows His Elect. He has known them for a very, very long time.
I answered the question you asked. You write quickly. I write slowly. And I'm not arguing with anyone. I'm merely responding to statements and questions.Yep, just like I said above. Why are you arguing?
I believe believers will obey God and perform works. Why do you believe someone who has a lifestyle of sin was ever saved?don't you believe Obeying God is a works?
and you oppose works?
So-Called Saved People, are making this very Claim, on this Forum.
this is why i say it.
God KNOWS, the Intentions, of the Heart!
not a lifestyle of sin, but a lifestyle, of not asking forgiveness for the sins they did commit after being Saved.I believe believers will obey God and perform works. Why do you believe someone who has a lifestyle of sin was ever saved?
