The system runs itself. The whole western civilization runs itself. I see that everything is running fine from Maine to Florida and i also realize that from Maine to Florida there are people who preoccupy their lives with anxiety while I'm at the beach having ice cream.
Whatever clown is in charge, has zero effect on our daily lives from the time we wake up to the time we go to sleep.

Oh, so we should appreciate the clowns we have.
1. I am thankful for Joe Biden, I feel he has turned many people to the Lord. Nothing like having a guy who is senile with his finger on the red button and talking about preemptively nuking Russia to wake people up that they need to prepare to meet their God.
2. I am thankful for the inflation and rising interest rates, too many people were completely distracted by the world, this helps some (admittedly the poorest ones) to become free of all those distractions.
3. I am thankful for Biden's DOJ and the many, many indictments of Trump. The more they indict Trump the less we hear about how the conservatives are a bunch of paranoid conspiracy theorists.
4. I am thankful for all the various elections that have been stolen by election fraud. If they only stole the Presidential race people would find it much harder to believe that it is going on, but when they see all these various races being stolen it makes it more real to the majority of Americans.
5. I am thankful for all these wingnuts on the internet lifting up Hamas like they deserve to win the Nobel peace prize for returning some of their hostages. I find it reassuring that my sense the world calls evil good and good evil is not hyperbole.
6. I am thankful for the quarantine camps in NY. Three years ago when I left NY and told relatives this was coming they confidently assured me that would be impossible. They then worried about my mental health. I feel it is only fair that since they have been so concerned about my mental health that I also should be forced to worry about their mental health (they are in a panic now like a deer in the headlights).
7. I am thankful for the recent videos released of Trump supporters on January 6th protecting the police from Antifa at the capital. I feel like I have enough good material now to make a parody of the January 6th committee on "what not to do in an insurrection".

It makes a huge difference who is in charge. The price of gas alone affects the price of everything we buy. The intestinal fortitude of a leader determines the wars that take place. The policies that are implemented can lead to greater or lesser human suffering and death.
The choice of leadership affects everyone everywhere everyday.

This isn't accurate at all because for 25 years of my life, there has been zero effect in my daily life regardless of who was in charge.
The price of gas changing is called inflation and it happens in many countries.
And when it comes to suffering and death, that's when one decides if it's worth staying or leaving somewhere else where the greater conscience hasn't lost its common sense.
There is no suffering in USA besides health-related reasons which happen worldwide. We are on vacation here.
But you can also be part of a doom-and-gloom brigade because everything is so good and you don't appreciate it so you need something different from boredom because you haven't seen real suffering.
Indeed this is very fun. SNL-like comedy.
You know what's tragic? Those kids in Africa who you feed. Those kid's daily lives is a form of suffering despite who's running their country. So luckily they have you to support them and make a change in their daily lives.
When you compare ourselves to them, we are on vacation here.
Our daily rhythm is fantastic, even if a movie actor like Regan is staying at Pennsylvania Avenue or a nursing home patient like Biden.
I never said things aren't better here than elsewhere. But everything I stated is demonstrably true. I'll show you.

You have been affected whether you admit it or not. And so has every other person. You may not understand, either, how fragile our self determination and freedom is currently. I'm not into bashing someone just because they're a different political party and I gotta go with the Bible where it says many times to pray for our leaders. God knows everything and so there are reasons we don't know about, that's when we trust the Word. There are and were some hideous leaders that need to be prayed out and the Body of Christ can do that if we ever come together and stick to the Word.

So this is more entertainment than actual value. Because if people would be serious about regime change then they would get up and fight or leave. But people don't want to do that because again it's not doom-and-gloom.
Changes happen very slow and are inevitable because the people can't take it anymore and a new way of life is established.
In Europe you had very slow changes in large periods of time.

Colonialism and imperialism
The reformation
The enlightenment
The French revolution
The industrial revolution
The Russian revolution
WW1 and 2.
Now - mostly vacation mode with the majority of western society living comfortable lives. So the complaints are not big enough for people to cause a major change.

This is a difference in mindset and how you see things. Glas half full or half empty.
We are incapable in changing the tides of history that's why i mentioned so much history. Our only peace comes from God because we cannot control human behavior despite our attempts. This is why history repeats itself usually and we learn nothing from it.
So, ride the wave instead of trying to control the wave and thank God for the water.

I do believe history is under divine control and following a divine plan and timetable. Personally, I can worship whether olives are on the branches and horses are in the stalls or not. But there is alot more human suffering with the latter. I was under the impression that human suffering was a concern to you.
And the reason history repeats itself is because men in want cry out to God. God, who is merciful, condescends to men and draws near and brings great blessing. But men who have provision forget the kindness and goodness of God. Eventually, a generation will arise that knows not the Lord. They don't walk in His ways and lose His presence and blessing. In time, things will get bad enough for men to cry out to the Lord again.
We seem to be in a time when things are becoming progressively worse. Good time for prayer and revival.

But men who have provision forget the kindness and goodness of God. Eventually, a generation will arise that knows not the Lord. They don't walk in His ways and lose His presence and blessing.
