It absolutely is a sin because the body is the Temple of the Holy Spirit.

So thanks for making the strong point that Jesus would have committed sin if He'd ever ingested alcohol.

He most certainly never did and the Bible is clear that He was 100% sinless.
You have been caught up in an un biblical movement based on the experience of former alcoholics.. Once again there is Zero Biblical verses that state that Jesus never drunk wine.. Nor is there any that state that drinking alcohol in moderate amounts is sin.. The Bible only talks against people drinking in excess and getting drunk..

So leave the traditions of men that you are currently stuck in and become a Bible based believing Christian..

Three pages in and none of the naysayers has attempted to gainsay Deuteronomy 14:26.

Gee... I'm so surprised.

LOL was it not a JEW? Well, what was is Mother Mary and Egyptian?
A Judean.

NOT what we know today as a Jew.

What we know of today as a Jew Jesus publicly humiliated over and over every chance He got.

He hated those people and those people hated Him and the Bible is very clear on that.

Who murdered Jesus, CS1?

Reckon back in biblical times... it was illegal to drive one's donkee after having too many "adult beverages"?

Did they have a problem with drunk donkee drivers running in to other donkees causing accidents? View attachment 258202
Perfect image.

Looks just like a reverent Christian.

And that's what you believe God expects of Christians, correct?

So... it's a sin to NOT drink booze then???

Even modern day medical science has proven alcohol is bad for the body.

So, knowing doing something to harm our body would be a sin.

Well, the calvinists claim God made them to be a sinner when they were a baby and they just cannot help to sin every day in thought word and deed... so that pic is what some of those calvinist peoples look like on Saturday night! laughing.gif

There is only one way to get drunk, Adstar.

And the Bible speaks negatively of alcohol in many places.

Would you like to argue the case that the body is NOT the Temple of the Holy Spirit and is NOT to be purified?

You won't fare so well.

Sadly, that's what a majority of Christians in general look like many nights.

You are not listening nor taking correction.. Your loyalty is to the individual / church / religious organization who indoctrinated you into the zero Alcohol position.. Not to the Actual Word of God on the matter.. Until you can forsake all traditions of men for the actual Word of God you will remain deceived and one who is engaging in the promotion of false doctrines..

I never said that.. And it is a very bad thing trying to put words into other peoples mouths.. Words that they have never said..

Hey, you're the one that said not drinking booze is un biblical movement based on the experience of former alcoholics..

A statement like that leads others to believe that it's OK to drink the booze!

I thought I'd get clarification... so are you FOR drinking the booze, or AGAINST drinking the booze??? clueless-scratching.gif

Yep, as a kid I grew up in a mid-sized town that was full of baptists who claimed to not drink or support drinking... but late at night they liked to drink the booze.

They say the difference between a catholic and a baptist is... at least the catholic says hi to others while shopping at the liquor store!

That and they say baptists never make love standing up... it might lead to dancing!

Who teaches you these things Braweh? what you say about Jesus is not part of any scripture and is false. it is easy to prove but you do not want to listen or will you? It is O.K to be wrong about something it happens to me often but I correct my mistakes it's no big deal. To cling to a false belief is a is deal however.

Blessings.
