People who obsess over, argue about, worry about, predict about, over study and over value the end times described in the bible might want to drop these things and spend more time in service to our Christ.

While nobody should go overboard on anything... study of end timers events is a legitimate part of ministry to the Body of Christ and to the world to warn them of the doom that is headed their way and what need to be done to not end up being tormented for eternity in the eternal fires of hell.

In fact, showing people things the Lord said in His Word was going to happen long ago and pointing out where they came to pass is a great evangelism tool.... such as the nation of Israel being resurrected and how the Lord foretold this.

I let my original words stand.

Short sighted and leaving out a major part of the Lord's ministry to the Body of Christ and to the world.

I can understand being bothered by some who get in the ditch on one side or the other... but to claim it's all a waste of time is not the leading of the Holy Spirit... the Lord isn't saying that.

I hope God will find me on mission with him

It's your call as to whether you'll be found in right standing with the Lord... or not in right standing.

Make the decision to abide IN Christ for all the days of your life!

If more would study and understand instead of listening to others maybe there would be less false teaching on this forum about what is to come.

Some will say of Daniel 12:9, but it is appropriate because these are the end times. Christ may not return in our lifetimes and then what will come of your obsession? You may end up standing before our Lord, explaining why you wasted so much time on something that did not happen in your lifetime. (Daniel 12:13).

Let us all get to work for our Christ as bondservants, not as unprofitable servants.

It is not your place to judge someone as having obsessive behavior in their teaching of the Scripture because they emphasize one subject more than others.
You do what you feel you are led to do and allow the rest of us to do the same without passing judgment.

And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.

Anytime anyone tells people to ignore anything that God's Word teaches... that's wrong.

And as such, it should be called out as being wrong.

Thank you for much information. I have not and do not say to disregard anything. Read my post carefully. There are no demands. I have studied eschatology possibly longer than some have been alive on this site. I can tell that your post has sincere motive behind it and thank you for your care

That bit about "obsessing" is merely your assumption. No one is obsessing over the end times. But a part of service to Christ is also to present Bible truth to others. And as someone else has pointed out the end times also mean that the Second Coming of Christ is drawing very near as is the Resurrection/Rapture of the Church. And those are huge events for the saved as well as the lost.
