People who obsess over, argue about, worry about, predict about, over study and over value the end times described in the bible might want to drop these things and spend more time in service to our Christ.
I let my original words stand.
I hope God will find me on mission with him
"Blessed is the one who reads aloud the words of this prophecy, and blessed are those who hear, and who keep what is written in it, for the time is near" (Revelation 1:3)

Yup, written over 2000 years ago, how long is "near" I wonder?
Yep another one of those moments where someone on the www is suggesting we should "not watch" and us trying to figure out just exactly why our Lord Jesus said to watch in EVERY SEASON and even gave us Daniel,Revelation,Matthew 24,Mark 13,Luke 21 ect. if we were never suppose to watch? https://biblehub.com/interlinear/luke/21-36.htm

I let my post stand. If you want to twist it, you are free to do that with others. My objective is love and support of the brotherhood. My desire is to encourage you and other to live a life of service, full of service.I believe you said we should drop these things and not waste our time on them, did you not.
It is never a waste of time to study and understand all Scripture.I believe you said we should drop these things and not waste our time on them, did you not.
And you think I am not living a life of service because I disagree with you?I let my post stand. If you want to twist it, you are free to do that with others. My objective is love and support of the brotherhood. My desire is to encourage you and other to live a life of service, full of service.
Very good, you don't need encouragement from men, then ignore mine. I offer, I don't argue. And you think I am not living a life of service because I disagree with you?
I do not need encouragement from men, my Lord and Savior is sufficient.
That is what it seems you have said here.
And I did not twist your words, just stated what you said.
God calls each of us to service. What he calls one may be different than others.
He calls some to win the lost, others to teach how to live, and some to study and teach what is to come.
ALl are important and are to be taught.

Some will say of Daniel 12:9, but it is appropriate because these are the end times. Christ may not return in our lifetimes and then what will come of your obsession? You may end up standing before our Lord, explaining why you wasted so much time on something that did not happen in your lifetime. (Daniel 12:13).
Let us all get to work for our Christ as bondservants, not as unprofitable servants.
I say the same to you. If you don't like what I have posted, throw it away. I repeat, my desire is to engage with and encourage others in service. Here's what you said....
So you were saying some would have to explain to the Lord why they wasted so much time on this, and it makes one to be an unprofitable servant and that we should drop these things and spend more time in service to our Christ
FULL service unto the Lord... includes paying attention to what the Lord says concerning end times stuff. View attachment 258201
Not trying to argue with you , just pointing out that we need to be clear what we say so as not to be misunderstood.Very good, you don't need encouragement from men, then ignore mine. I offer, I don't argue.
I was very clear. I used extreme words to convey the idea of someone with obsessive behavior. I said " you may want to drop", not, you should drop. I said " you may find yourself before Christ", not, you will have to answer for wasted time. I am done explaining what my original post clearly says. Not trying to argue with you , just pointing out that we need to be clear what we say so as not to be misunderstood.
my desire is to engage with and encourage others in service.
I pray that you repent of this divisive behavior and seek our Lord.Telling others that should not pay attention to what the Lord says in His Word about end times events... is not encouraging others in service, is it?.
May have been clear to you, but not to all of us.I was very clear. I used extreme words to convey the idea of someone with obsessive behavior. I said " you may want to drop", not, you should drop. Wow!...I pray God's love and will in your life. Good bye brother.May have been clear to you, but not to all of us.
It is not your place to judge someone as having obsessive behavior in their teaching of the Scripture because they emphasize one subject more than others.
You do what you feel you are led to do and allow the rest of us to do the same without passing judgment.
I pray the same for you.Wow!...I pray God's love and will in your life. Good bye brother.
I pray that you repent of this divisive behavior and seek our Lord.
Just like your icon shows, your too slick for me Jimmy. I just don't know what to say. You win Jimmy! Enjoy, I am going to say goodbye to you now.Pointing out goofy things others said that was in error... is not being divisive.
It's actually doing what God's Word instructs:
Ephesians 5:11
And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.
Anytime anyone tells people to ignore anything that God's Word teaches... that's wrong.
And as such, it should be called out as being wrong.
All ya gotta do is say, "yeah, we do need to accept the whole counsel of God... including that end times stuff" View attachment 258209
Or not... I know not everyone accepts all of God's Word so it's your call....
Daniel 12:9
And he said, Go thy way, Daniel: for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end.
Daniel 12:13
But go thou thy way till the end be: for thou shalt rest, and stand in thy lot at the end of the days.

Thank you for much information. I have not and do not say to disregard anything. Read my post carefully. There are no demands. I have studied eschatology possibly longer than some have been alive on this site. I can tell that your post has sincere motive behind it and thank you for your careYou do not understand, with the end times comes the KINGDOM OF HEAVEN, it is why people watch the sings of Christ's return, the sings are clear we are in the end times, and the Christ's second coming will happen soon. Christ asks us to watch and be ready!
You Must Be Ready
Luk 12:35 Let your loins be girded about, and your lights burning;
Luk 12:36 And ye yourselves like unto men that wait for their lord, when he will return from the wedding; that when he cometh and knocketh, they may open unto him immediately.
Luk 12:37 Blessed are those servants, whom the lord when he cometh shall find watching: verily I say unto you, that he shall gird himself, and make them to sit down to meat, and will come forth and serve them.
Luk 12:38 And if he shall come in the second watch, or come in the third watch, and find them so, blessed are those servants.
Luk 12:39 And this know, that if the goodman of the house had known what hour the thief would come, he would have watched, and not have suffered his house to be broken through.
Luk 12:40 Be ye therefore ready also: for the Son of man cometh at an hour when ye think not.
Luk 12:41 Then Peter said unto him, Lord, speakest thou this parable unto us, or even to all?
Luk 12:42 And the Lord said, Who then is that faithful and wise steward, whom his lord shall make ruler over his household, to give them theirportion of meat in due season?
Luk 12:43 Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing.
Blessings
That bit about "obsessing" is merely your assumption. No one is obsessing over the end times. But a part of service to Christ is also to present Bible truth to others. And as someone else has pointed out the end times also mean that the Second Coming of Christ is drawing very near as is the Resurrection/Rapture of the Church. And those are huge events for the saved as well as the lost.People who obsess over, argue about, worry about, predict about, over study and over value the end times described in the bible might want to drop these things and spend more time in service to our Christ.
