Been kinda busy. Grandma fell yesterday and popped her shoulder out of joint. At least it wasn't broke.
My vacation was restful and relaxing. Maybe TOO relaxing. Last few vacations I have spent in a motel room with a laptop, cans of food and everything I might need - fingernail clippers, just in case - spare laptop, just in case - even a (clean, new) plunger, just in case. My goal is to shut the motel room door and not open it until my vacation is over.
This time out, I didn't make it all the way. Two days from the end of my vacation I got antsy. One day from the end, I gave up and went home.
I commented that if this is all the peace and quiet I can take, retirement might be a bit rough. Uncle Fred said now you know why I haven't retired yet. And it's getting easier to understand people like uncle Stanley and Bro. Danny, who we always tease about being backslidden retirees, they keep retiring and then getting another job.

I was not home schooled, but did go to a Christian school, so that might be the next best thing? I once read a biography about a late Creationist who I learned was also a Geocentrist. His view was that the bible supported Geocentrism over Heliocentrism, and had some science to back it. The more I investigated, the more I realised there is no reason to believe in Heliocentrism, and that this learned man was right - Geocentrism was quite a scientific belief, and also scriptural.
I think in the same biography (if not another one), it also mentioned the man's friends had asked him why he didn't go the full way and become a Flat Earther. Intrigued by this, I investigated what the bible actually said, and learned it did indeed imply a Flat Earth, rather than a ball-Earth (I previously had fallen for the lie that Isaiah's "circle of the Earth" translated to "ball"). It was difficult for me to accept that the Earth was flat, so I prayed about it, that God would reveal to me the truth of the matter. And I read about it - both scripture and the science. And as I read, I realised many of my "scientific" objections could be readily overcome. The more I read about it, the more convinced I was there was no need to believe in a ball-Earth, and scripture did indeed imply a Flat Earth (or at the very least a foot-stool Earth).
So to answer your question... the internet, I guess! (Seriously, I believe it was spiritually revealed, as I had asked - but the internet certainly makes me feel a little more comfortable in the belief - when I started reading about it and became convinced, I was the only one I knew).
