Putin’s move to secure Libya bases is new regional challenge for US, European allies

https://english.alarabiya.net/News/...new-regional-challenge-for-US-European-allies

Persia, Ethiopia, and Libya are with them, all of them with shield and helmet; 6 Gomer and all its troops; the house of Togarmah from the far north and all its troops—many people are with you. Ezekiel 38:5-7
The major reason some people taught that Ezekiel 38 takes place at the end of the millennial reign is because of the reference to unwalled cities without bars or gates. That is not the situation in Israel today, nor can we see that happening any time soon. Not only so, but it would be reasonable to consider "the iron dome" to be a wall against missiles, and in that case we really cannot envision this happening to Israel prior to Armageddon.

This is one reason why I feel that verse is not talking about Israel but about the US. If you read Ezekiel 38 it is clearly something else besides the war with Israel because it says "also". This place without walls, bars or gates in the cities is rich in cattle. They want to plunder the cattle. That is a second reason this cannot be referring to Israel.

So in conclusion, I think everyone should reassess Ezekiel 38, we see it being fulfilled right in front of our eyes today, and it may be referring to a war against Israel and also a surprise attack on the US.

One scholar, Arnold Fruchtenbaum doesn't believe Libya will be part of the Eze 38-39 coalition, but just about every other scholar I'm aware of sees Libya participating. None-the-less, I wouldn't discount Fruchtenbaum's thoughts on the issue.

I do not consider any interpretation of prophecy to be sacrosanct.

"I will send fire on Magog and on those who live in safety in the coastlands, and they will know that I am the LORD. " Ezekiel 39:6 The coastlands could mean a distant land.....like America. We would deserve it.

65% of the US lives within 5 miles of the coast.

That is actually good.
In regard to this current topic, yes. I deliberately moved to the countryside, away from population centers and military bases. I also secured an independent water and food supply. I recommend this to everyone.

Mankind started in a garden and ends in a city.

True, but that city is not like NYC or Mexico city, or any that we are familiar with. Mixes the garden with the city.

Anyone is welcome here. I quite imagine if things get really bad, there will be plenty of people needing help. If someone shows up, they won't be turned away. But I'm too old to go on any rescue missions. Is this a good enough invitation?
