It's an emotional issue for you. I get that. There is a place for sentimentality and everyone should be sickened by the senseless loss of life. But I'm only concerned for a solution. Within that solution, I am concerned for the lowest amount of loss of life.
The solution, in my opinion, is to destroy Hamas. And once that is a reality, some presence will be necessary to insure no other group is allowed to come in and create the same situation again. This will make for conditions to exist where innocent lives will never again be an issue. And while it will mean there will be more civilian lives lost in the present, it will save countless times more lives in the future.
I don't believe this is a perfect solution, but merely the best of all the bad choices. A ceasefire only ensures that civilian losses will continue now and in the future. This is neither humane or moral. It's merely sentimental and isn't an actual solution.
Regarding how other nations defend their atrocities, I'll be glad to address those on the basis of each case and circumstances, if you like.

Do you agree with people who say Israel needs to be taken off the map? True not all Israel's neighbors think this but many in power do, and they're fanatics. What if our neighbor didn't think we had the right to exist? I would imagine we would be super careful who we let in from there, and if they led an attack on our soil, I wonder what we would do. The fact is someone simply doesn't want peace.
Israel and her people want peace but this is not going to happen until the antichrist shows up and will have a solution, unfortunately it will be a ploy.
Also, the drug captagon which is a stimulant in the amphetamine family, was found on many of the terrorists. Some of the varied anti-Israel cliques around the world should try voicing their other opinions in a non-free country and see how they get treated.

You're the one defending the terrorists who knew Israel would take action. They have been known to either arm children or use them as martyrs. No comparison whatsoever. Rome turned Israel into province after AD 135. Most Jews and Samaritans left for other countries, but not all. Jews have always lived in Israel. Arabs were not scattered to the ends of the earth. They have not faced 2,000 years of persecution. They have not been worked to death in concentration camps. They have not been herded like cattle into gas ovens. It is not Jews who formed a religion of death that threatens the peace of the whole world. You should try finding out the truth before commenting.
Every death or injury, all the suffering of Gazans and Israelis, is entirely the responsibility of Hamas. Even the Russians are not putting missile launchers in hospital car parks. They just attack civilian targets in Ukraine instead. I don't see a lot of outrage against that. Nobody marches in the streets in protest. You want to know why? The world hates Israel because it hates God. Israel is the visible evidence of God's power to keep His word.
