So Christian metal is fine... But a song about coffee is not fine?
I mean I have Christian metal in my collection. In fact I have stuff that sounds MUCH harder than the (rather tame) examples you posted. But this seems to conflict with your preaching in another thread in this music forum.

There style of music is not the problem, even rap can be godly.... the content of the message being conveyed however IS a problem if the Lord is not being uplifted.
Apparently one must learn rocket science to get this!
Concerning lyrics, I don't do music that the lyrics are all garbled like the singer is growling which is just stoopid.
Music is a vehicle to convey thoughts and ideas, so no need for the growling and howling.

They say that is every bit as Christian as Whiteheart or the Gaithers.
Meanwhile I know a whole lot of people who would say your Christian medal doesn't qualify as real Christian music. I mean, I have a lot of it in my collection, but... should I believe all of them or the one of you?

There are those here who would call that position heretical, because rock itself is demonic, or something. Where are these people when you need them? LOL This thread would become hysterical.
Why not let the Lord Jesus lead you?
God's Word never says anything about styles of music one way or the other.... so if the lyrics are good and the intention of creating the music is to bless the Lord and honor Him... I say tell all those other people to get some head phones er something cause I'm gonna rock to some Christian metal!
People that pick on those listening to music styles they don't approve of... ask them if their bible came with a thumb drive containing a download from Heaven so we can all know exactly what style music the Lord be tappin His toe to.
They don't have any such music samples from Heaven so for all we know the style of music they be jamin on is unacceptable!
One thing fir sure is... ALL styles of music have been and are bring used by the devil for evil.... as is money and cars, and television, and the internet, a whole bunch of other stuff.
