they're accountable to the fact they have the Same Knowledge we all do.

but, what do we do with that Knowledge is where we Spend Eternity at.
The difference in knowing in Romans 1 and John 17 is the difference between knowing things about someone and actually experiencing that person. For example, there is a difference between believing a steak is delicious and actually eating the steak and enjoying the taste.
in General, WE ALL KNOW GOD IS GOD!

To know God intimately, God must reveal Himself. That's what makes understanding how the church is formed is important. Jesus said He would build His church how?
I really like these verses in that regard. They're very simple and direct yet encapsulate so much knowledge about salvation.
As I understand them, they inform that in order for anyone to gain a true knowledge/understanding of salvation (and hence Christ), their sins must first have been forgiven them; that is; from and by salvation alone, comes the knowledge of salvation. Until and unless that first occurs, salvation remains unknown to the unsaved, and they oblivious to its spiritual principles, doctrines and implications.

but the only way to know gd like john17 is to repent, re ie e his gift. And be born again because your sins are forgiven
i am quoting Romans 1. those people aren't getting justified. but this is the Verse that is the STATEMENT for Verses 19-24:
19. Because a knowledge of God is revealed to them, for God has revealed it to them
this says, and it even applies to us, when we WERE SINNERS, we still had Knowledge that God existed because God made Himself known to us.
of course, You, and Myself, we Submitted ... unlike, those, in Romans 1: [10:16. But not all have submitted to the message of The Gospel, as Isaiah said, "My Lord, who believes our report?"]...and why we Know God in every way He wants us to know Him.
but our DEEPER knowledge of God, does not remove the fact, Everyone, knows God, because God has made Himself known to them...so...they are without excuse.
God, only will reveal Himself, in the way you describe, after you have Submitted Yourself to Him.
God comes very intimately in salvation. But what I was pointing to was Jesus' response to Peter's confession of Him as the Christ...blessed are you...because my Father in heaven revealed this unto you...
and Peter had long already devoted himself to Jesus. must go through Christ to get to the Father.
On the salvation spectrum, I am farther on the side of what God contributes than what man contributes, but being saved is better than knowing how salvation works.

Romans 1 makes this clear. he reveals himself in many ways, including his creation
God's is sovereign in giving the choice between receiving Jesus' as savior and being saved or going on your own and being lost. Your choice does not negate His sovereignty. Those are the choices He offers, and you cannot change the perspective outcomes as much as you'd will it.
He isn't (wasn't) here to have a serious Bible discussion. He is here to troll, agitate and prove people wrong, no matter what. I see that he has been banned. Good call by the mods! He is now trolling the Christianity Board, promoting his false doctrine and stirring up contention. I was recently in a discussion with him there and he flat out called me a liar and referred to me as disgraceful. I made it clear to him that I did not appreciate his slander and that his true colors are obvious to me. Apparently, he has nothing better to do with his time and desperately needs a new hobby.

Matthew 22:14 - Called (2282 - kletos) in Matthew 22:14 is talking about the general call of the gospel which goes out to all men every time the gospel is preached.
In the Vine's Expository Dictionary of New Testament Words, we read <Adjective, 2822,kletos> "called, invited," is used, (a) "of the call of the Gospel," Matt. 20:16; 22:14, not there "an effectual call," as in the Epistles, Romans 1:1,6,7; 8:28; 1 Corinthians 1:2,24; Jude 1:1; Revelation 17:14; in Romans 1:7; 1 Corinthians 1:2 the meaning is "saints by calling;" (b) of "an appointment to apostleship," Romans 1:1; 1 Corinthians 1:1.
Called (2564 - kaleo) in Romans 8:30 conveys the idea of an effectual call and emphasizes God's sovereign work. There is a distinction between the called (klhtoi) and the chosen (eklektoi) called out from the called.
Romans 8:30 says ..whom He called, these He also justified; and whom He justified, these He also glorified. *ALL of them. Paul made no implication here whatsoever that those who are called and justified will not be glorified.
