Sorry but I'm just trying to help. If it's unwanted, I will stop.
May I suggest you're misunderstanding those verses. There is no such thing as spiritual baptism. There is baptized with the HS which only happened twice for specific reasons and water baptism. We know without any doubt those converted by the apostles were water baptized.
In 1 Cor. baptism is water, even in chapter 12. What kind of baptism would those Christians in Corinth understand this to be? 1:13 Is Christ divided? Was Paul crucified for you? Or were you baptized in the name of Paul? And here 10:2 and all were baptized into Moses in the cloud and in the sea, And here 15:29 Otherwise, what do people mean by being baptized on behalf of the dead? If the dead are not raised at all, why are people baptized on their behalf? Every other mention in the letter is water baptism. Why would they think that 12:13 is something they haven't experienced and not water which they did?
No, there definitely is baptism by the Holy Spirit which is spiritual baptism - the true baptism. Everyone saved has been baptized by the Holy Spirit. Many people choose to be baptized with water as a symbol of spiritual baptism, but that having no spiritual efficacy whatsoever.
Many people have been saved without water baptism. Water baptism does influence God nor affect His salvation.
[Mat 3:11 KJV]
11 I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear:
he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and [with] fire:
[Mar 1:8 KJV]
8 I indeed have baptized you with water:
but he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost.
[Luk 3:16 KJV]
16 John answered, saying unto [them] all, I indeed baptize you with water;
but one mightier than I cometh, the latchet of whose shoes I am not worthy to unloose: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost and with fire:
[Jhn 1:33 KJV]
33 And I knew him not: but he that sent me to baptize with water, the same said unto me, Upon whom thou shalt see the Spirit descending, and remaining on him,
the same is he which baptizeth with the Holy Ghost.
Really, turbosixx, respectfully, but I'm done with this topic.
