Ive never been to a lutheran church, they dont seem to have them in my area, although there are the odd german communities in nz. I have been to Canada though (in summer) once.

There seem to be a lot of canadian teachers in NZ. I asked why and they said it was cheaper to teach here, but also, I think they want to escape the cold.
