how, is it, you believe that Apostle Peter, was a first of something, let alone the Pope, and had assessors?

what original thought in YOUR Mind dwelt upon the idea of it before believing it?

again, don't be stupid..... I told you that disobedience (conforming to Judaizers, not wanting to eat unclean) did NOT constitute meekness or cowardliness...... which are the two qualities you assigned to Peter, and I disagreed with... quit playing word games, little man, you are not that good at it.
Getting bullied by the Judaizers into not eating with gentile Christians is a cowardly move, you ought to know that being a bully yourself.

If you think RC priests can forgive sins against God, you are greatly mistaken.
Yes I did ask them. I even linked to them in my post. Click the word "these" in my first sentence of that post.

I can also give the link again since you may not be too keen on being proven wrong.

Oh good catch! However, If I had to list all the questions YOU never answered I'd be here all day.:giggle:

Mathew 16:19 in light of Isiah 22.

You are deflecting. Plus I never claimed to have answered your questions, or that you did not ask questions you in fact actually did.

You have falsely accused me of not reading posts while you obviously
don't read posts then claim the content of those posts does not exist. LOL

This is another contribution to the thread by showing others how untrustworthy you are.

Deflecting from WHAT? I've answered your questions, what do you want now? You're being a hypocrite, I've been on here trying to solve an issue and answer all the questions I catch, and you're barely answering any, and you're on here accusing me of presumptions and lying while lying and presuming things about me yourself. I RIGHTFULLY accused you and proved you to be a liar back a few pages.

No, you have repeatedly falsely accused me. And then made claims of yourself that were false as well, as I just proved.

Deflecting from the fact I asked questions you did not answer despite your claim that you had answered my questions.

What does a kjv-only-ist who considers kjv superior to the original languages think of that argument, @NTNT58 ?

Greek is a more precise language than Hebrew. perhaps the case is that God inspired the Greek but not the original? i gather that is the argument kjv-ists will. make, when they say that particular English translation is the only truly trustworthy scripture.

nevertheless if you find something God has done to be against your personal better judgement, i would question your judgement before questioning His.

and there is no copy of Matthew in Hebrew existing today known to mankind that isn't a later backwards translation from Greek.

the fact is that God preserved Matthew's gospel in Greek, and if it was first written in Hebrew, God did not see fit to preserve it in that form.
bottom line, i have no issue with the Greek, even with some misunderstandings here and there for both Covenants.
it's a Great Language, because, it's much like English. People were speaking more Greek world wide at that time much like People worldwide now generally speak English. there is no argument there for these Keys to having the Gospel Spread efficiently by using the Language the Majority of the Speaking People Understand. and why in 1611, English boomed and it's been a Best seller since.

God is a Pure Genius.
the Point you made is not only Valid but absolutely full of Merit!

my point is what solid factual Church History reveals and tells us by those who God clearly Inspired to Comment on, like Original Matthew was in Hebrew and the Greek Version to English KJV comes from that, mixed with Latin [Erasmus Confession].

and Jerome made it possible for us to also read this Hebrew Gospel, which happens to be Matthew from Hebrew to direct English.

it's why Verses from this Bible are so Powerful:

24. And the ship was many furlongs* distant from the land while it was tossed greatly by the waves, for the wind was against it.
25. But in the fourth watch of the night, Yeshua came unto them, while he was walking on the water.
26. And his disciples saw him, that he was walking on the water, and they were alarmed and they were saying, "It is a hallucination", and they cried out in fear.
27. But Yeshua immediately spoke with them and he said, "Take heart; I AM THE LIVING GOD*. Do not be afraid."
28. And Kaypha answered and he said to him, "My Lord, if you are He, command me to come unto you on the water."
29. And Yeshua said to him, "Come", and Kaypha went down from the ship and he walked on the water to come to Yeshua.

it's literal Short-Hand Hebrew! Jerome, called it Hebrew/Aramaic mixed.

Matthew must have used short hand words in his notes, is what is meant.

someone says great body of water
i say, the Sea?

short hand meanings.

Matthew took Jesus Words and condensed them to how Jews were speaking in that time, is what is meant.

When Peter (not knowing what he was saying) said to Jesus at His transfiguration, "it is good for us to be here, let us put up three tabernacles (which each have a 'seat' for the one it is built for), one for You, one for Moses and one for Elijah" and was cut off by the cloud enveloping them and Father's voice coming from the cloud, "This is My Son, whom I have chosen, listen to Him."

And yet, Jesus set a seat up for Peter? That just RCCidiculous

Isaiah 22:
כב וְנָתַתִּי מַפְתֵּחַ בֵּית-דָּוִד, עַל-שִׁכְמוֹ; וּפָתַח וְאֵין סֹגֵר, וְסָגַר וְאֵין פֹּתֵחַ.22
And the key of the house of David will I lay upon his shoulder; and he shall open, and none shall shut; and he shall shut, and none shall open.

Matthew 16:
19. "To you I shall give the keys of the Kingdom of Heaven; everything that you will bind in the earth will have been bound in Heaven, and anything that you will release in the earth will have been released in Heaven."

That's what Jesus said in Mathew 23:3 - Obey the authority of the Pharisees.

You must obey all authority applicable to you, including church authority.

Just because Papists do wrong doesn't mean they don't have authority.
You reject/do not support their (RCC) authority. So you make zero sense.

Jesus was given all authority by God. He is my authority.

this is a complete Parallel of one another/like mirror image of same Verse prophesied in 2 ways.

but, how does this relate to the Catholic Church and Peter being a Pope?

from the Moment Jesus said this, to end of Bible, where do we read words like Pope or Catholic?

NOWHERE!

so, this has no relation to Peter being a Mythical Pope!

but there is Indeed a Correlation between those 2 Verses that can be directly tied to Peter, i will [[definitely]] give You that.

even though, these 2 Verses do not mean, Peter, was ever a Pope.
i do want to Personally Thank You, for, tying these Two Verses together.
I feel like I just ate Manna!

I know there's a meaning coming for me soon connecting these Verses.

And here it is in the book of Revelation:

And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write; These things saith he that is holy, he that is true, he that hath the key of David, he that openeth, and no man shutteth; and shutteth, and no man openeth;

- Revelation 3:7 (KJV)
