The End Times: Who is the Beast and the Antichrist?

There's a thread right now called "What is the point of being a prophet?" where the original poster starts with that question and then several posts later give his prophecy about the beast which he thinks is Russia, the antichrist which he thinks is Putin and the US he thinks is Babylon. There are too many Bible verses that contradict that prophecy and I posted that as such.

I'm truly surprised that no one is posting against that false prophecy except me though. This forum is well versed in the Rapture and its various positions of No-. Pre-, Mid-, and Post-Tribulation Rapture. So the silence on other areas of study on the end times is quite significant and I think strange.

I think this is a very important topic since the end times and the revealing of the beast is fast approaching with a lot of false prophecy is coming out of the woodwork lately to try to distract us from the real deal. I don't think we should be uninformed about this. So I'm asking everyone: Who do you think is the beast, the antichrist and Babylon? Please post the Bible verses that brought you to that belief.

My point is there is the seven headed beast which began in daniels time with Babylon 1 , then Persia , 2 then Greece 3 Greece split into four leaders when Alexander was killed his four generals were divided ( four heads of the third beast ) and then Rome rose from that which was ruling in johns time

the beasts or whatever iMagery that is shown on prophecy is always later explained in scripture like daniels four beasts with seven heads we know they are Babylon , media Persia , Greece and it’s four heads , and then Rome because it’s explained to him …. the most powerful which gained rule over all the ancient world. And then after Jesus was killed and rose slaughtered Jews and Christian’s shortly after for centuries but especially around 70 ad when Rome also destroyed Jerusalem and it’s temple like Jesus foretold and then they scattered the Jews into all nations …..but then later Romes power was dicipated and over time other nations have had times of power recently the USA had about a century of bieng the worlds power now it appears to be China rising up as the one no one else will be able to fight against and they are definately anti Christian it’s seems more cyclical until the end to me but just an old fools guess

Yes, the last beast rises out of the Rome system even though Rome itself has diminished. I think this is the main reason why Satan wants this to be hidden from Christians, especially in the US. The beast rises out of Europe (the statues feet mixed with iron and clay) and they don't want the US to resist being drawn into this conglomerate of countries.

China I think will be leading the kings of the East and Russia will lead the kings of the North to fight against the antichrist in the last days. Unfortunately, when the Lord Jesus appears as a might warrior king, they'll not recognize that He's the Savior of the world, be so afraid and side with the antichrist instead against Him.

Right now, globalists are trying to maintain the narrative that Russia and China are the real enemies of the US (and hope that the US will affiliate with the EU), so there's been a lot of claims that Russia and China are going to attack the US. And they might do that but not because it really is Babylon

Some do believe that US is Babylon. I don't think that's true though because the prophecies are so vague that they can apply to a lot of entities. And the globalists have been taking advantage of this to dishearten the US' will to fight. But who is Babylon the great really?

Mystery Babylon is a one-world religion which encompasses all the religions of the world. And this has already been formed in 2022 in Abu Dhabi (which tells me all this could possibly happen in our lifetimes). Those who don't belong to God are going to join it or at the very least find it acceptable. The antichrist and beast system will affiliate with it for a while to draw the whole world in (whose names are not in the Book of Life) but then destroy it. That's when the ac will rise up and claim to be a god and try to force everyone to worship him.

Revelation 13:1 describes a 7-headed monster with 10 horns (symbolism). There are two beasts—one is political (a 1-world system) and one is religious. If a “beast” has more than one head, it’s a political system, and if it’s singular, it’s a religious leader (Satan, the Antichrist). The 10 horns refer to 10 kings or world leaders and these kings come on the scene when the AC appears. These 10 kings will align completely with the AC and will make war with Jesus Christ and His saints. These 10 kings are the first beast, the 1-world political system.

This tells you who the beast is. The dragon is Satan and the beast who is worshipped is the Antichrist. As to Babylon many believe it is the USA, but it could also literally be Babylon. No point being adamant about that. Mystery Babylon is the religious system promoted by the Antichrist.

Well it was made in 2016 and that person was a guest and I didn't see that pick up steam as in anyone believed it. and though this site might post about different things (This forum is well versed in ) Spiritual things this site is not known for. It mostly stays in the natural where you get allot of verses praise GOD posted your mostly left with "what are you saying" or being told what God really meant as some did here. Not "I believe....and heres why". So how do you talk to a wall.

I've come to develop a fairly firm opinion that Babylon is Luxembourg, without taking time to detail the reasons leading up to this conclusion, other than offering the meaning of the name literally means "luxurious city."

The words "great city" appear ten times in the book of Revelation, and if we take the time to look at the descriptions of this "great city", then every single time it refers to Jerusalem.

For example, here are the first and last times that "great city" appears:

Rev 11:8
And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified.

Rev 21:10
And he carried me away in the spirit to a great and high mountain, and shewed me that great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God,

In the other eight instances, it can easily be proved that this "great city" is Jerusalem as well.

l think the fourth beast in daniel will be a one world gov. because the angel reveals that this beast will differ from the others by trampling the whole earth etc.

An image (Greek translation is icon) of a global government (beast), that is given the breath of life and the ability to speak, what could it be?
Mankinds greatest effort to give life to anything is artificial intellegence, in my opinion.
It seems like it would be virtually impossible to create one image that encompasses a global entity.
All the images on the www of a global kingdom combined with a superintellegence that has been given conciousness and the ability to speak great things seems like a good candidate.
More likely than a talking statue, or painting etc., which has crossed my mind in the past.
Whatever it will be was either dead or in an inanimate state, and it couldn't speak before being transformed.
John described it as having eyes like a human.
So not a human, but having eyes that appear humanlike.
The implication is that John perceives something that has a humanlike form but he beleives that its not really human, even though they did a good job on the eyes.
That's a good description of the latest robot designs.
This living image will claim to be God.
I don't think that the entire world has ever worshipped any one thing at the same time.
A couple of things that come to mind are money and the www, or rather the imagery and entertainment it gives access to.
Something else of interest to me is that one heads of the beast is dealt a mortal wound and then somehow miraculously healed.
This causes the population of the world to be in awe and compelled to follow this beast.
This healing must be very remarkable indeed.
What deception could be so well designed as to fool the elect of God, (if it were possible)?
What if this healing is actually a ressurrection?
What if AI figures out a method that can translate a human intellect into an eletronic algorithim?

"You can continue to exist for millenia in my paradise".
"You will be as god"!
How many would be able to resist such a temptation?
To see friends and family members living in a metaverse, a cyberworld long after they would have been dead, and then choose to die when the time comes instead of joining the crowd.
That's a lie capable of fooling almost anyone.
I believe there's a scripture that says something like "there will come a time when a man will seek death and won't be able to find it"
Practically speaking, how could that happen?
Like a zombie on the walking dead?
Or maybe someone who's consciousness is under complete control of a demonic superintellegence, that has real time access to all the data containing everything that they have ever searched, scrolled, liked, followed, and deleted, everything that their's and any other phone's tablet's etc. camera and mic has recorded since they have been on the earth.
The choice to commit suicide could even be denied.
A man could seek death and not be able to find it.
God included information in his word about the past and the future.
From the beginning through the end of this world and the beginning of the next.
It's included because its integral and transformative.

This is absolutely false.

The words "great city" appear ten times in the book of Revelation, and if we take the time to look at the descriptions of this "great city", then every single time it refers to Jerusalem.

For example, here are the first and last times that "great city" appears:

Rev 11:8
And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified.

Rev 21:10
And he carried me away in the spirit to a great and high mountain, and shewed me that great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God,

In the other eight instances, it can easily be proved that this "great city" is Jerusalem as well.
