About 2018 I remember going out on halloween night to pray
against witchcraft in a place called Peachtree City, Ga.
Was in the woods at night and it was very dark, except for the few houses that were lit. It started to feel pretty demonic out there.
Eventually I ran into three teens, one muslim, and one I believe was an athiest
I was going to pass them by but got a "strong thought" to talk about Jesus to them and one even got his wrist healed in Jesus' name (I think he played baseball). God was glorified.
As I was walking in the dark, words started to "flow" out of me in the form of a poem I guess. It was rhyming and didn't really feel like it was me.
It basically said something like
"you wonder why your children are so rebellious
you wonder why your teens grow up to stray away
it's because you are sowing rebellion in them
through halloween, and things like it"
a short time later, my very young nephew started celebrating it, and sure enough began to become rebellious on another level
mind you, spiritual warfare is par for the course with me, but this seemed peculiar
I was starting to think about the poem ^ and that it was starting to happen with him,
and around that time after thinking that, while in "time out", he looked at me in a strange way and
randomly said "trick or treat"
almost as if to mock
even before then I didn't have anything to do with halloween, but after that I am confident no one should have anything to do with that tradition, even if it seems like a Christian version of it.
