Just a suggestion: for an established member, remove required review for posts before they go public. My suggestion: if they have 10 approved posts, allow them to be public when the member hits "Post thread".
If I understand the previewing of new threads is only for new users, as a way to discourage trolls. And after either time or activity (not sure which, I think time) it should stop.Just a suggestion: for an established member, remove required review for posts before they go public. What's the rush? You in a hurry to get a thread out right now?Just a suggestion: for an established member, remove required review for posts before they go public. My suggestion: if they have 10 approved posts, allow them to be public when the member hits "Post thread".

For me, there's nothing I have to say that is so urgent that it can't wait until a moderator gets to it.
Also it's probably better if someone looks over what I said before it goes live.![]()
I did that in an email the other night, then woke up long enough to see it and start deleting it, but nodding back off hit "enter" instead leaving a huge gap between the ajfhusitiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii and the apology the nex morning.I hear that. I've been falling asleep recently with my laptop on my chest. I fall asleep typing and some of my messages have been sddddddddjsjdddddvfiiiiiiii. Luckily I haven't hit send yet in my sleep. So any mod if you get sdjjjjjjjjjjjsdfffffdjjj from me, sorry, but I'm way deep in dreamland.![]()

Funny thing on my end I saw it all in my sent box, but the other person says they didn't see any of it(or... they were just being nice)
As do I sometimes, but moderators can't kick threads out just because "this is straight loony!" or "this will probably start an argument." There has to be overwhelming, blatant evidence to justify rejecting a thread.Truthfully, I sometimes wonder at threads knowing they have had to be approved.

On the other hand, the ones you may wonder about moderators passing are probably the ones they have marked to keep an eye on, because "yeah I can't justify rejecting it offhand, but it'll probably be trouble soon."
Pre approved posting is only for new users. After, I believe, two weeks, it's dropped.I think it's great that being approved beforehand. That our emotions don't do damage - mods are watching and can handle it swiftly.Remember being rash can lead to some pretty damaging situations. Being patient is a fruit of the spirit. No better way to practice is than now
on here. It's not going to get any easier lol!

Wow, that's a heavy load for one! AGPre approved posting is only for new users. After, I believe, two weeks, it's dropped.
The swiftness of reactions depends on the mod. Mods are unpaid volunteers that use their personal time to come on when they're able. So it's not always a swift reaction.
Also, near as I can tell there's only one mod ever active in the forums.
No - any new user after a certain date in the past has to wait...Pre approved posting is only for new users. After, I believe, two weeks, it's dropped.
That date was years ago. So, any New user.No - any new user after a certain date in the past has to wait...

You don't understand what I am saying - any new user after that date - to this day - has to wait until their new thread is approved. It is not "dropped" after two weeks. That date was years ago. So, any New user.
Then you should talk to a mod.You don't understand what I am saying - any new user after that date - to this day - has to wait until their new thread is approved. It is not "dropped" after two weeks.
I know this for a fact because - as long as I have been here (since coming back after leaving) - I - have to wait...
