This war is about to get very interesting. GOD will protect Israel. If the Hamas and Hezbollah are defeated, Israeli will have peace. Ezekiel 38 will be next.

They may not know Jesus, but GOD will give them peace. It's setting things up for Ezekiel 38. The temple will be rebuilt even if they don't accept Jesus at this moment.

What need is there for a temple? That system was ended with Jesus' perfect sacrifice.

This is what the Lord GOD says: On that day, thoughts will arise in your mind, and you will devise an evil plan. You will say, ‘I will go up against a land of unwalled villages; I will come against a tranquil people who dwell securely, all of them living without walls or bars or gates— in order to seize the spoil and carry off the plunder, to turn a hand against the desolate places now inhabited and against a people gathered from the nations, who have acquired livestock and possessions and who live at the center of the land.’ Ezekiel 38:10.

But according to Scripture, the temple will be rebuilt by the middle of the Tribulation. Paul foresaw a day when the Antichrist will sit "as God in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God" (2 Thessalonians 2:4). In the Olivet Discourse, Jesus referred to the restored temple and its desecration: "When you see the 'abomination of desolation,' spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing in the holy place... then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains.... For then there will be great tribulation, such as has not been since the beginning of the world until this time, no, nor ever shall be" (Matthew 24:15-16, 21).

Many believe that has already happened.

This has not happened. The antiChrist has not appeared yet. The reason Gog and Magog are attacking Israel in Ezekiel 38 is to take their riches. They are not going there to take the land. Magog (Russia) will attack Israel because they are broke. That is happening to Russia now, they are broke.

I said nothing of Gog and Magog, nor did the post to which I responded.

There is no "need" for a temple any more than there is a "need" for Israel to be brought back from exile. However, God uses Israel as proof that He can fulfil His promises in spite of the circumstances. I'm not certain that the temple will be rebuilt as I've not studied the relevant scriptures in depth. It's also reasonably clear that the so-called temple mount of today is not the original site of the temple, which rather confuses the issue. It is clear that Israelis are committed to the rebuilding of the temple. This may be a visible sign that God is able to fulfil His promises, even in a hostile world that hates God and His people.

“The day is coming when you will see what Daniel the prophet spoke about—the sacrilegious object that causes desecration standing in the Holy Place.” (Reader, pay attention!) Matthew 24:15

At the time Jesus said this, there was no way anyone could see what was happening in the temple. It has only been in about the last 70 years we have had cameras, that could be placed inside the temple and cell phones so people could see what has happening inside the Holy of Holies. He even said if you're in the field or on a house top to flee, not to even go back for a coat. How could they see what was happening in the temple if they didn't have cell phones on them?

Abomination of Desolation - Israel waited to do lock down and did so on March 25, 2020. 1290 days happened on October 7, 2023. The rave party in the field was on the Sabbath. What is a Buddha like statue representing here? F1D7BDE4-DB3C-4A88-ACEF-72DEBEDB78AC.jpeg

Scripture says, they will fall for false peace. But then they will recognize their Messiah, they will mourn and they will be saved.

The temple in Ezekiel is Jesus, not a building. The dimensions the physics and the river that flows from it are not humanly possible. Does any one ever read the description of that Temple?
They will continue to oppress the people in Gaza and they will continue to strike back and fight until Jesus comes back.

It is a building, I don't where you get the idea it's Jesus.

It aint a building humans can build.
“So when you see standing in the holy place ‘the abomination that causes desolation,’ spoken of through the prophet Daniel—let the reader understand— Matt 24:15

Jesus was talking about a BUILDING! made by humans

Coincidentally (or not), as I was waiting for my computer to start up after getting home
from work, I opened my Bible to a random page that read:
“How can there be peace,”
Jehu replied, “as long as all the idolatry and witchcraft of your mother Jezebel abound?”
