I live in PA and am 56. I'm a hermit on a hill with a cat named Amelia. I have grown to like the peace and solitude. I talk with Jesus as friend with friend. I feel fortunate to have a life with time for quiet contemplation.
Went grocery shopping today with my aunt. We both bought yarn and crochet hooks. Relearning how to crochet is our latest project. She lives 1/2 hour up the road. We often get together on weekends.

Hello again, Pamela... I see that seekingthemindofChrist has answered some of your questions to me (thank you, @seekingthemindofChrist ! .) and I am sorry for using language short cuts you do not understand. Some people
speak in a lot of shortcuts and I understand that can be difficult to read, let alone understand (known as "chat speak"),
but there are many short cuts people use on a somewhat regular basis in conversations here and elsewhere on the
web/internet. I will list some of them here for you... any others that you come across, you could try using a google
or duckduckgo or bing search engine to try to suss out the meaning. Learning how to use a search engine can
really enhance your web experience! I do hope you get more comfortable as you chart this unknown terrain.
Oh my goodness, I just googled chat speak on wikipedia and there is a very long list!
But some of the ones mainly used are
AFAIR as far as I recall
AFAIK as far as I know
IIRC if I recall correctly
LOL laugh out loud
AFK away from keyboard
