Word of Faithers always have scriptural justification for their positive confessions: Health, wealth, whatever it is, they can produce some scripture they think tells them they're entitled.
There you go. No faith equal to a mustard seed. Just kidding.I haven't tried to create a universe with only words, but I'm pretty sure it wouldn't work for me.
Faith comes through hearing which the spoken word is of course part of that but hardly the same as being like God as in our words carry the same power to speak things into existence or to not speak of an illness and therefore not claiming it as reality it will supernaturally go away.
Do you have examples of what to speak in faith?RABBIT TRAIL - Nobody's saying that SPEAKING A WORD IN FAITH (given to you by God) is the same as "Being like God".
When you Speak IN FAITH the word THAT GOD HAS GIVEN YOU, then it's simply GOD'S POWER working through as HIS agent for the moment.
Your "Not claiming it as reality" sounds like "Christian Science" garbage.
So basically prayer? To speak a word of healing in prayer? Where we ask God to heal? Or do we claim it?But Jesus, knowing their thoughts, said, “Why do you think evil in your hearts? For which is easier, to say, ‘Your sins are forgiven you,’ or to say, ‘Arise and walk’? But that you may know that the Son of Man has power on earth to forgive sins”—then He said to the paralytic, “Arise, take up your bed, and go to your house.”
7And he arose and departed to his house.
8Now when the multitudes saw it, they marveled and glorified God, who had given such power to men.
The origin of our words matter.
If we are sent by God to speak a word of healing over someone then that person will be healed. It is not our words that healed him, but the words we received from our Father to speak.
This is only true within those who are led by the Spirit of God. Fakers cite diverse scriptures claiming that "Because said thus and such we can proclaim it as true". That's not how the Word works. Knowing what the Spirit is saying in the moment is required. Otherwise, as some have pointed out, the fakers should be goaded into speaking a universe into existence.
"...when the Spirit of truth comes, He will guide you into all truth. For He will not speak on His own, but He will speak what He hears, and He will declare to you what is to come. He will glorify Me by taking from what is Mine and disclosing it to you. Everything that belongs to the Father is Mine. That is why I said that the Spirit will take from what is Mine and disclose it to you."
The order is The Father to the Lord to the Spirit to one led by the Spirit.
Peter understood this, as did the other disciples. He spoke what was given to him and a man was healed.
"Then Peter said, “Silver or gold I do not have, but what I do have I give you. In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, walk.” 7 Taking him by the right hand, he helped him up, and instantly the man’s feet and ankles became strong."
In conclusion: if our words have any power it because they originated from the Lord and were given to us from the Spirit. If our words originated from us they have no power from God.
"But I tell you that men will give an account on the day of judgment for every careless word they have spoken. For by your words you will be acquitted, and by your words you will be condemned.”
There are many "preachers" today who are storing up shelves of condemnation for themselves.
A lot of Word of Faithers think they have supernatural powers. For example, some think they can control the weather. Why do they think that? Because Christ spoke the word of course and calmed the storm. Some think they can rebuke illnesses and evil spirits; again, because Christ did it with His words. Kenneth Copeland's COVID rebuke fiasco is a prime example of this. I'm quite sure he thought God was speaking to him and telling him to do it. Some even think they can raise the dead. Christ and the apostles spoke and raised the dead, so if God tells them to rise the dead, hey, why not.
John 14:11 Believe me when I say that I am in the Father and the Father is in me; or at least believe on the evidence of the works themselves. 12 Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father. 13 And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son.

What are the greater works?
Do you have examples of what to speak in faith?

Gal 3:5 speaks of "the one that does miracles among you" (imagine assuming that there was someone that "does miracles" in the church), and indicates that it's done by "The hearing of FAITH". Romans 10:17 tells you how "Faith Cometh" - by HEARING and hearing by the Word of God.
Bottom line - when the Holy Spirit TELLS YOU to do/speak something, then that's what you do. If you have no idea what to do, then DON'T DO ANYTHING.
Plenty of Biblical examples. God can use anybody HE chooses to do whatever HE wants to do. It could be as simple as speaking a Word from Him to somebody, or as serious as raising the dead.
If you DON'T KNOW (as a result of the Holy Spirit inspiring you) what to do, then there's nothing you can do. Simple as that. GOD has the power, you don't.
I also remember that not everyone has this gift:
1 Corinthians 12:4 There are different kinds of gifts, but the same Spirit distributes them. 5 There are different kinds of service, but the same Lord. 6 There are different kinds of working, but in all of them and in everyone it is the same God at work.
7 Now to each one the manifestation of the Spirit is given for the common good. 8 To one there is given through the Spirit a message of wisdom, to another a message of knowledge by means of the same Spirit, 9 to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healing by that one Spirit, 10 to another miraculous powers, to another prophecy, to another distinguishing between spirits, to another speaking in different kinds of tongues, and to still another the interpretation of tongues. 11 All these are the work of one and the same Spirit, and he distributes them to each one, just as he determines.
So these people who don't believe in this obviously don't have this gift. They don't understand so we should just be patient with them.

ONLY when the Holy Spirit leads you to do it.Do our words carry the same power as God?
