This thing has all of the earmarks of a set up/planned/staged event.
Too many coincidences and bizarre failures.

But how in the world were the terrorists able to gain entry into Israel? Was there a slackening of Israeli vigilance? And what about Israeli intelligence ahead of this attack? Did their intelligence agency fail to see what was going on in preparation for this massive attack? It seems that there was some kind of internal failure within Israel to allow this to happen.
11th September 2001 not ring any bells? To me, the situation is rich with signs of state-sponsorship. Elements of the home government were likely complicit, whether directly by funding or supporting the attacks, or by disabling systems and standing down, allowing the attacks to succeed.

Lots of propaganda ready to roll and develop an emotional response for the people to support war. $$$.

The world required Israel give up the Gaza Strip for "peace" with the satan worshiping islame-ist's, they did so, divided the Land they were given as an inheritance, we lost New Orleans at the same time for supporting this ungodly action.
Yeah, but the city still exists. Not sure I'd attribute God's judgment to that. I'm not a prophet, so I don't KNOW either way, and I'm reticent to assume right away it's God smiting something.

Unfortunately, this would not surprise me.

I pray it’s not true, but something doesn’t smell right.

Israel has maybe the best intelligence in the world. There were hundreds, maybe thousands of Palestinians that knew of this elaborate plan.

The idea that it wouldn’t have been leaked seems absurd.

Yes, this attack could very easily lead to the powers in the Middle East rallying around the peace agreement. Other than Iran and Hamas I don't think anyone in the Middle East wants another fifty years of this war.

Now this is just my opinion, so don't get to upset. lol They should have taken over Palestine 20 years ago! Common sense tells us there would never be a peace between the two! God had no problem wiping out idol worshipers! (Ezekiah 30:13!!) Israel has screwed around thinking there could be peace, well as all can see this is not possible!

Take it over once and for all!! Many may say but what about the innocent?? My friends as a Vietnam Veteran there is NO INNOCENCE IN WAR!! And in this case how can you tell them apart?? You can't!

No mercy. no grace here!!! Take them or be taken that is Israel choice! May they make the right choice!! Hamas is ruthless. Israel must be even more ruthless to win! So get ready!!! Because Israel is moving forward!! They have already cut electricity and food, it should end quickly about a week or two, no holds barred now!!

As long as Israel is Christless (ruthless) they cannot win.

If it was a conspiracy by the US gov't, then the reverse would also be true: Someone would have leaked it. That would have taken way too many people here to pull off, and to control all of them seems quite unlikely.

Update(1345ET): For the first time since the Yom Kippur War of 1973, the government of Israel has issued a formal and legal "declaration of war" after Saturday's devastating assault from Islamic militants out of Gaza, which according to the country's health ministry has left over 700 Israelis dead and thousands injured. Strategic Affairs Minister Ron Dermer told CNN in a morning interview, "There will probably be more hundreds, several hundred more."

Americans were also likely among the captives. On Sunday Secretary of State Antony Blinken said, "We have reports that several Americans were killed. We are working overtime to verify that," he told reporters. Here's what the US top diplomat said:

“Does the administration know at this point if U.S. citizens were among the dead or those taken hostage?” NBC News' Kristen Welker asked Blinken.
Blinken said: “So we have reports that several Americans may be among the dead. We are very actively working to verify those reports. Similarly, we’ve seen reports about hostages and they’re, again, we’re very actively trying to verify them, and nail that down.”
Pressed again on whether some U.S. citizens could have been taken hostage as well, Blinken replied: “That’s correct.”
