Though I don't have the reference handy, I know that the claims in this video have been debunked.
I've tested it myself. Water in a small cup exposed to moonlight was about a degree or three (Celcius) cooler than that protected by the shade, give it about 15 - 30 minutes. Real science.

I guess I too would have found it somewhat ironic - in my days as a heliocentrist - that the only people doing real science are the Flat Earth people. Now, it just makes perfect sense. The Heliocentrists are the ones who still believe in fairy tales, because they sit back and mock and believe they know it all, rather than going out, testing the theories they espouse, and practicing true science.

But was it a spherical trip? I trust you do realise that a plate may be both round and flat?
A spherical trip? It most certainly was. Orbital, too. It had to be because I'm a bit of a GLOBEtrotter.

You didn't once entertain the idea that the plain truth of the matter might be that your plane was traveling within the horizontal PLANE of the Flat Earth, which might still be achieved within the orbit so described?

It never crossed my mind.
I remember doing an experiment at school to prove the Earth was a sphere.
Also observing the Moon through a telescope clearly shows it is a sphere.
I don't see why the Earth would be any different.
I've enjoyed sharpening iron with you, but it's a moot point really.
Whatever shape you believe the Earth to be it's still God's creation to be enjoyed.

I counter with:

1) A school experiment can't prove the Earth is a sphere (though happy to discuss if you think it can).
2) Observing the moon through a telescope only ever reveals one side, which can't differentiate between whether Earth's true shape is a ball or a coin.
3) The Earth is special, which is why it is different.
4) The philosophical purpose of heliocentricity is to cause the thinking that the Earth is not special, and allow for the atheistic relgions/worldviews of Big Bangism, Heliocentrism and Evolutionism (i.e. to invalidate the claims of scripture about Earthly things, so as to introduce doubt in the minds of men about spiritual things).
5) Earth is God's creation. But just as Evolution is a theory introduced to cause doubt about the legitimacy of God creating life as described in scripture, Heliocentricity is a theory introduced to cause doubt about God's special place for Man and the Earth in His Creation.

It is easy to determine the moon is a sphere by watching the patterns of shadows as sunlight moves across it.

I thinks it looks like a pizza. In fact I think all planets look like pizzas. I think I'll start a movement called PaP.
This is why you should never go to the grocery store or consider the shape of heavenly bodies on an empty stomach.

The observant will note we only ever see the same side, and it certainly doesn't look like sunlight moving across it. Wrong colour, for starters. (Diagram for illustration of the point that we only see the same side of the moon - if it were a rotating ball shape, we would expect to see more than the same face for millennia).

Is it not an miracle? You live on a flat earth and I live on an earth which is a sphere.
And still we are on the same Planet.
