I suggest if we look at the context of Galatians, it's people adding circumcision and works of the old law to the law of Christ. Although Paul is a Jew and circumcised, he counts it as rubbish and only boasts in the law of Christ (cross). We either follow the flesh or we follow Christ.
It's about our works.
5:16 But I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh. [/quote]
6:2 Bear one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ. [/quote]
I don't see how we can squeeze Jesus's righteous deeds in there. It's about our walk.

All we are doing, by doing anything, outside of getting the Sense I should do this, I should tell this person something about God that uplifts, I should feed the person, maybe I need to give this one here some money and say, God, Loves You...is...allowing God, inside of us, to do His Works, by giving us the feeling we should give, or help, or say something that reflects God.

We really are not doing any work at all.

Just like Jesus, the Father dwelled in Him, doing the works, even though, it was Jesus Who looked like He was doing the Works [He is the Exact Image of God...what God does...Jesus was doing because He is God]...

but in us, God dwelling in us, is we get a feeling, idea to help, do something. because GOD, wants to WORK, but He, wants You to be the VESSEL He works through!

i've never done a thing for Jesus!

Jesus, inside of me, gave the ideas to do what HE wanted to do. and it got done because I allowed it and obeyed. it looked like me doing it. but it was Jesus doing what He wanted to do Himself.


the Faith part: when i get the idea from Jesus to give money, i know the idea is from Jesus. so i give because my Faith says this is of God and i will obey and SEE the Miracle in the end.

Paul planted many Churches, but never saw them grow like John did.

This actually sounds like something I could agreed with.

Lol Paul literally says "by which I was crucified to the world, and the world to me"!

I know I was saved early in my life. I was surrounded by bible believers. I talked it. I lived it. I loved the Lord. I remember the evening I gave my life to Jesus. It was a sermon from Pastor Tom Malone on hell. Going into high school, my parents divorced which forced my mother into the work force. This took me out of church and basically everything spiritual in my life. By my 10th grade year, I was knee deep in the world...popular...athletic...girls...parties...etc... The Spirit tugged at me, convicting me, but I quenched him. I knew it was wrong, but my desire for those things took priority over spiritual things. It wasn't until my second year in college did I start seeing that Catholic girl:).

None of that suggests that we will "give an account for rewards or lack of rewards." We will be rewarded (or not) depending on our works, and we will answer for all that we do, but we will not answer for rewards or lack thereof.

As one who often argues about the importance of the words used in Scripture, you should be more careful that you get the words right.

We give an account for our labor, our works. We will be rewarded accordingly, or suffer the loss of rewards.

We cannot lose something we never had. We won't receive rewards and then lose them.

We will give an account for all that we do. Period.

We will not give an account for rewards we receive or don't receive. That would be silly. Any rewards would be given after the accounting.

Were you with Jesus on the cross?
No. He was there ALONE. He saves us BY HIMSELF.

He gets all the glory.....ALONE.

The Lord has rewards that he wants to give us. We can suffer loss of those rewards through bad labor. Receive vs suffer loss.

Based on the context it looks like Paul is talking about the law & circumcision ending with the cross.

13 For even those who are circumcised do not themselves keep the law, but they desire to have you circumcised that they may boast in your flesh. 14 But far be it from me to boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by which the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world. 15 For neither circumcision counts for anything, nor uncircumcision, but a new creation.

No, he's saying "Christ accomplished many things for me by dying and resurrecting".

You don't understand Scripture.

God told Gideon and Israel "I can't save you right now--if I save you, with your large numbers (30,000?), you'll say YOU did it not ME."

What did God do to make sure He got the glory alone?
Did He get rid of man's involvement altogether?
No.

He whittled their numbers down to 300.
He told the fearful "don't get involved".
Then God alone got the glory.
When the 300 men obeyed God.
That was God alone getting the glory.

So, also, when we, by grace, obey the twofold command of God--"believe in the Name of God's Son and love one another"--God alone gets the glory.

You simply won’t get a reward for ‘bad labour’. Again, you can’t “lose” what you haven’t received.

These two verses are in the same judgment context. There will be no opportunity for your work, having been rewarded in verse 14, to become worthy of burning in verse 15. Your work either abides or is burned, but not both.
