Acts 16:7 says, “When they had come down to Mysia, they tried to go into Bithynia, and the Spirit of Jesus did not allow them.
Just as the Spirit of Christ is the reality of Christ, so the Spirit of Jesus is the reality of Jesus. If we do not have the Spirit of Jesus, Jesus will not be real to us. But today Jesus is real to us because we have the Spirit of Jesus as the reality, the realization, of Jesus. In Philippians 1:19 Paul says, “I know that for me this shall turn out to salvation through your petition and the bountiful supply of the Spirit of Jesus Christ.” The Spirit of Jesus Christ is the Spirit mentioned in John 7:39. This is not merely the Spirit of God before the Lord’s incarnation but the Spirit of God, the Holy Spirit with divinity, after the Lord’s resurrection, compounded with the Lord’s incarnation (humanity), human living under the cross, crucifixion, and resurrection.
That's a typical Jehovah's Witnesses answer. If Jesus is not the Lord and God of Thomas why did Jesus not correct Thomas? So I ask you, is Jesus Christ the Lord God Almighty?

I know that Jesus was a man and the Unique One and Only Son of God.
I do not know if He was Lord God Almighty. I believe that Jesus worshipped God who was His Father.
I know your not a JW but that is what they teach. Again, Thomas declared to Jesu Himself that He Jesus is his Lord and God. Jesus did not say "No I am not and Thomas believed Him, why can't you believe the Holy Spirit inspired words?

The Bible says when we are indwelt, we become partakers of the divine nature. So while we are not deity, the Holy Spirit is.
note that Thomas says this to "Him" singular, not plural 'them'
The verse is definitive calling Jesus God, and Jesus answers Thomas "you have believed" absolutely accepting the statement as true.
there is no legitimate argument you can make to deny it; it is what the scripture says. you can choose to believe the scripture or you can choose not to believe the scripture.
Actually, He did say I am the Son of God when people accused Him of saying that He is God.
You don't have to accept one translation over another. I am just saying that I don't want to be making a doctrine until I understand. For example, I don't know Greek and I have not looked at the Greek.
God is the Creator of the heavens and the earth, the world or the universe, and the Father of our Lord Jesus the Christ (the Messiah; the Anointed (One)).
