God is not a man. But Jesus is the Son of God.
See Colossians 2:9.
Colossians 2:9 NASB20 - For in Him all the fullness of Deity dwells in bodily form,
God is not a man. But Jesus is the Son of God.

Colossians 2:9 NASB20 - For in Him all the fullness of Deity dwells in bodily form,
By saying I and the Father are one was Jesus saying that He is the Father?John 10 -
27My sheep listen to My voice; I know them, and they follow Me. 28I give them eternal life, and they will never perish. No one can snatch them out of My hand. 29My Father who has given them to Me is greater than all. No one can snatch them out of My Father’s hand. 30I and the Father are one.”
31At this, the Jews again picked up stones to stone Him. 32But Jesus responded, “I have shown you many good works from the Father. For which of these do you stone Me?”
33“We are not stoning You for any good work,” said the Jews, “but for blasphemy, because You, who are a man, declare Yourself to be God.”
1 Timothy 3:16 NASB20 - Beyond question, great is the mystery of godliness: He who was revealed in the flesh, Was vindicated in the Spirit, Seen by angels, Proclaimed among the nations, Believed on in the world, Taken up in glory.1 Timothy 3:16And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifested in the flesh, Justified in the Spirit, Seen by angels, Preached among the Gentiles, Believed on in the world, Received up in glory.
Its what ya get when you slam post modernism, egalitarianism, and humanism together and call it a culture.Yes! I got it! It's the same as I said in the transgender thread, strong delusions. I have never seen an age like it. Reality means nothing. They proclaim they are something even if every fact says they are not.
Hello jacob martin Martens, do you agree with this below;1 Timothy 3:16 NASB20 - Beyond question, great is the mystery of godliness: He who was revealed in the flesh, Was vindicated in the Spirit, Seen by angels, Proclaimed among the nations, Believed on in the world, Taken up in glory.
I just don't know if the Son is God except by the Holy Spirit or because all the fullness of Deity dwells in Him in bodily form. Jesus is a man and God is not a man.Hello jacob martin Martens, do you agree with this below;

the Verse I posted is Titus 2:13 and the most Authentic Greek/most Original is written how i posted it : the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ, 14 who gave himself for us to redeem usI am not sure that that is correct. For example, see the following translation.
Titus 2:13 KJV - Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;
You know that the Father is SpiritI just don't know if the Son is God except by the Holy Spirit or because all the fullness of Deity dwells in Him in bodily form. Jesus is a man and God is not a man.
John 17:5 NASB20 - "And now You, Father, glorify Me together with Yourself, with the glory which I had with You before the world existed.
Thanks for this.
Jacob
I am a bit like you I do not follow any doctrine, for me the words of Jesus our messiah, the son of God is all I need and want, he fulfilled the law and prophets and confirmed the O.T. prophecy about him. Some prophecies still need fulfilling as written in revelations.Other doctrines that I do not agree with are Eschatological views, like dispensationalism.
Interesting. Well, okay.the Verse I posted is Titus 2:13 and the most Authentic Greek/most Original is written how i posted it : the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ, 14 who gave himself for us to redeem us
I am not sure.You know that the Father is Spirit
Holy Spirit is Spirit
what do you think Jesus, as the WORD, was/is before becoming flesh?
He is Spirit.
God is SPIRIT!
Do you mean in Revelation? I am not sure what they or these are.I am a bit like you I do not follow any doctrine, for me the words of Jesus our messiah, the son of God is all I need and want, he fulfilled the law and prophets and confirmed the O.T. prophecy about him. Some prophecies still need fulfilling as written in revelations.

no, Right Hand of Majesty.I am not sure.
I know that Jesus is now at the right hand of God.
Jesus is GOD in the Flesh, look at the passages about transfiguration after his resurrection;I just don't know if the Son is God except by the Holy Spirit or because all the fullness of Deity dwells in Him in bodily form. Jesus is a man and God is not a man.
John 17:5 NASB20 - "And now You, Father, glorify Me together with Yourself, with the glory which I had with You before the world existed.

I don't believe that they are the same person.Jacob, do you believe the human looking person of God appears in the Old Testament like eating with Abraham before destroying Sodom, wrestling with Jacob/Israel, 4th man in the furnance with Shadrach-Meshach-Abednego, or the other times He visited Moses and Joshua, and so forth?
well, that same human looking person who said His Name was YHWH [Yahweh][LORD][MOST HIGH GOD], is the same human looking person who called Himself Jesus.
When did this happen?Jesus is GOD in the Flesh, look at the passages about transfiguration after his resurrection;
17 Now after six days Jesus took Peter, James, and John his brother, led them up on a high mountain by themselves; 2 and He was transfigured before them. His face shone like the sun, and His clothes became as white as the light. 3 And behold, Moses and Elijah appeared to them, talking with Him. 4 Then Peter answered and said to Jesus, “Lord, it is good for us to be here; if You wish, [a]let us make here three tabernacles: one for You, one for Moses, and one for Elijah.”
5 While he was still speaking, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them; and suddenly a voice came out of the cloud, saying, “This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. Hear Him!” 6 And when the disciples heard it, they fell on their faces and were greatly afraid. 7 But Jesus came and touched them and said, “Arise, and do not be afraid.” 8 When they had lifted up their eyes, they saw no one but Jesus only.
9 Now as they came down from the mountain, Jesus commanded them, saying, “Tell the vision to no one until the Son of Man is risen from the dead.”
Jesus can be both Flesh and spirit (HOLY).
Blessings.
