Jesus came to Earth and went to the cross to deliver you from death and Hell unto eternal life with Him who gave His life for you... and all you can do is drool and drivel on and on about your genitals. Time to wake up and look beyond yourself unto the fields which are white for harvest. Stop worshipping your own pee-pee and start praising the Lord, my brother. Just be glad to be alive, saved, and living under the warm grace and mercy of the Son.

God Wants You to Complain

So according to some Christians and churches there will be no sex or showing affection in heaven. There will be male and female, but the genitals will not be used. We will eat and drink, so we can taste and feel, but no desire for physical attraction. Even though they have never seen heaven and we are told very little about it. They have already decided what you can and cannot do in heaven.
In 'heaven', but what about the new earth?

So what are you thinking it will be like? I'm guessing the no sex idea comes from there being no marriage in heaven. Sex is supposed to occur in marriage in Christian doctrine. So no marriage for the resurrected, ergo no sex, I suppose.

Or do you think the 'rules' about fornication and such will change because we are resurrected? Do you think there will be a sexual smorgasboard with whoever you want, kind of like an Oneida community?

If you really, really, really want to have sex, you could double down on the efforts and prayer to find a wife and find one here. Paul says of younger widows, under 60, 'Let them marry.' If you marry one, maybe that kind of counts almost as a good deed. So you could pat yourself on the back and have sex guilt-free in case there is none in the age to come.

you can be honest before our God yes. But David was not in singular focus. David expressed his earthly troubles and sorrow with God in honesty for its foolishness to try to hide anything from God.but then sometimes even in the same psalm or the immediate next he shifts to praise God and take delight in God which is where David’s finds strength time and time again . A singular focus complaint like sex is idolatry to the eyes of God because you’re placing sexual experience over God Himself in importance . This is exactly why masturbation is sin. Masturbation is a sin of self centered love. It’s refusing to trust God to provide for you. It’s raising the self above God, essentially making an idol of yourself through masturbation. David finds strength through his intimacy with God. David did not find strength in and of himself.

God doesn't want you to complain. He desires your contentment. There is not a verse where God bestows complaints, but there are many where He offers peace. That said, God doesn't seem bothered by our complaints. For Him, they seem to be an opportunity to reveal Himself more fully. Complaints are born of misunderstanding. We believe God is and acts in a certain way, and forget that His thoughts and ways are far, far above ours.
So, the next time you are ready to complain, ask instead of God what it is in your thinking and understanding of Him that is inaccurate. My guess, He will draw you closer as He reveals more of Himself.

will somebody who is obsessed with homes, eating and drinking or anything else in this world be in heaven?
Good question.
A fella who cant see that the vast majority of christian men do not concern themselves with sex in heaven but rather, their concern with heaven is being there with Christ and trying to be an example and leading others to heaven as a sign to himself that his views line up more with the pagan world than with christendom could very well be in danger.

You are correct.
Im gonna bow out of this one because he needs an act of liberation, mere information and truth will not overcome for him.
Yes, he needs more than a little sprinkle of salt for sure. It is said that habitual self-gratification results in insanity. he wants to take a wife, whomever he wishes, and wants God to comply to his will and make her (whomsoever particular probably halleberrylike hot woman) want him or make her comply to his wishes too, or (in his fevered mind) God isn't keeping his word. This is what I've gather keeping up with his what otherwise might be interesting topics so far. And now I'm just entertaining myself with the answers that others might offer and getting to know them and forming my own opinions of thereby. Could be right opinions, could be wrong but, the risk percentage with this one isn't favorable.

JB's conclusion as I see it: There will be no self-control in heaven, neither in mind nor body, but we'll be able to control other souls to bend to our own wills whenever we want, because God will back us up.

And..... what he fails to understand is.... that it is very possible that he could marry a halleberrylike hot woman if he only become so humble as to cast down vain imaginations and... woman are not that picky when it comes to looks... rather, a it is a good character, a good name (one that she would be honored to take upon herself) that attracts the more thoughtful women.

He is so dug into him paradigm that he can not see that his view of marriage and sexuality aligns with paganism. That Christian men through out christendom do not view it that way. Christianity universally agrees that sex is a gift to the married for the cause of family building, that the pleasure derived is a gift that unifies the married couple.
I have disfellowshipped him as sexually immoral, who has been corrected many times.

There will be no marrying or giving in marriage in heaven, according to Jesus, but we know more about what we won't experience in heaven like death and pain, but very little else. In Revelation 21 and 22, John is much more interested in the new Jerusalem than in the new universe.

I get the feeling some Christians think everyone in heaven will be vegan....on the menu, tofu chicken, broccoli and nonfat milk

You keep talking about sex as the physical act, but ignore the spiritual act of sex. Becoming one, having sex benefits the body AND soul.

Many Christians keep saying no marriage, no sex. Jesus NEVER said that. Just because there is no marriage in heaven, does not mean there is no sex. All the rules created for earth, may not apply in heaven.
