Wow, you really are afraid.
My post was neither intended as an insult, nor was it intended to discourage you, but rather to point out that you made your conclusion very clear.
The reality is that those who trust in the Lord have nothing to worry about. The verses that prepare us for the vicissitudes of everyday life also prepare us for anything that may happen in the future.![]()

Attempt to draw them out then,,who is it you think may have worshiped the image and used it's mark(money?) to buy and sell? Was it the Jews in the 1st century? was it the Christians? Was it Rome? Just saying,a lot of people say it's all over from way back then but then again nobody ever say's who did it and explains how and why. Is it that they just keep parroting the others who said someone did it in the past?
Well although I may see them fitting together quite well(which I do), I also see that your still not saying who or when in regards?. Who,when? Surely whosoever taught you that these things where fulfilled in some manner in the past has also explained it out to you and convinced you of this. Again who fell down and worshiped that image and who bought and sold/took it's mark?
Surely whosoever taught you that these things where fulfilled in some manner in the past has also explained it out to you and convinced you of this.
Simple answer… No one.who fell down and worshiped that image and who bought and sold/took it's mark
Hello. I think this verse answers your question: Revelation 13: 16 It also forced all people, great and small, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hands or on their foreheads
It has not happened yet because no such event has involved all people. Some folks called preterists point to events in the Roman Empire, but not all people were under the Roman Empire. For example the Northern frontier of the Roman Empire is around 20 miles South of here, my ancestors were never part of the Roman Empire. Also the many hundred millions of Chinese were never part of Rome. God Bless![]()
I agree one would only need to read Romans 13 to realize that Paul thought those Christians in the 1st century were to see Rome as ordained by God. He even goes as far as to say they should pay taxes which would mean they were to use Romes money so surly Paul would not suggest they use the money if he thought it was the mark https://biblehub.com/interlinear/romans/13.htm

If you're so confident about your Pre-Trib Rapture, why are you so upset by this thread?

I believe in a pre-tribulation rapture.
I believe that most of these events took place in the first century. That said, it is always good to build our trust and faith in the Lord. This coming event puts most of us in a situation that doesn't occur often at all in ones life, specifically the taking away of our ability to buy and sell, to provide for ourselves and our families. And God had shown in the Bible that what to come is going to be the worst time in history. So it needs specific preparation.
This coming Great Tribulation is going to cause a great falling away of people who aren't ready for it, so it's not just about everyday practice of trust and faith. Seriously, what will you do when the mark of the beast is implemented and you refused the mark? How are you going to provide for yourself and your family if you have one? If you haven't built up your trust and fellowship level in the Lord enough to be able to hear His specific instructions to you about provision or allowed room for God miraculous provision, than are you really ready at all with your everyday level of faith and trust in the Lord? This thread is about that, to encourage people to deepen their trust, fellowship, faith and endurance much further to be able to face all the sorts of severe persecution that Christians will face in the Great Tribulation.

That’s not quite what I believe…
Perhaps I can be a bit clearer in my position.
Who taught me? I’m from the land of gold teeth, drill music, drugs and murder. There is little to no teaching where I’m from.
John 6
44 No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day
Moving on….
You asked
Simple answer… No one.
The mark of the beast is not demanded upon men until the antichrist (Satan)‘is here.
Let’s not worry about fulfillment of prophecy, lets look at types…
“Nimrod was the founder of Babylon, which partook of his character as being the great antagonist of God's Truth and God's People. We cannot fail to see, in Nimrod, Satan's first attempt to raise up a human universal ruler of men. There have been many subsequent attempts, such as Nebuchadnezzar, Alexander, Napoleon, and others. He will finally succeed in the person of the Antichrist.”
Noah’s flood..
And the waters prevailed upon the earth an hundred and fifty days. 5 months
There is another flood coming…
Revelation 12:15
15And the serpent cast out of his mouth water as a flood after the woman, that he might cause her to be carried away of the flood.
How long is this flood of lies and torment?
5And to them it was given that they should not kill them, but that they should be tormented five months: and their torment was as the torment of a scorpion, when he striketh a man. 5 months
And again
10And they had tails like unto scorpions, and there were stings in their tails: and their power was to hurt men five months.
Why was Jonah in the belly for 3 days? Where was Christ for three day?
Fulfillment of prophecy and examples of types of what is to come are quite different,,

Hello iamsoandso! Thanks for replying to me. Good point. Jesus also held up a Roman Coin and said: “Then render to Caesar the things that are Caesar's; and to God the things that are God's” (Matthew 22:21 NASB). So Jesus didn't think Roman money was the mark of the beast. God Bless You![]()
The thing is that no one seems to think present tense or even entertain the mindset that any of this might be happening right now as we are typing. I suppose it's the comfort zone mindset where it just feels more comfortable thinking that it was all fulfilled way back in ad70 or that we will all be whisk away before it takes place off in the future and so it wont apply to us at all. It's more soothing to think that way rather than to watch or be ready like we were told. Oh but if they would just look at the here and now and examine how they buy and sell or look at the image they had already sat up they would see. I suppose it to be as you said in another post "unless it were given....ect." then so they would not be able to see it and so they would place it in the past or off into the future and associate it with another generation in time,(the old anyone but me approach, lol) . Anyway it just jumps right out that neither of the two think that they were to watch for it in their eschatology.
The 70ad is mind blowing, there were temples left standing after the siege… That's not what Christ described as “no stone left upon another”
Rapture believers… as I was one at one time.. need to be very careful. Looking to save your life at this time will cost you your life.
Received it's deadly wound in ad70,,,those dwelling on the earth made an image of it in 1948 https://biblehub.com/interlinear/revelation/13-14.htm be careful of the image you worship...
Not sure I understand… Who or what received, the deadly wound in 70ad?
Secular man made Israel,, best to wait for the New Jerusalem that the Lord is bringing with him,,,well unless they decided to make their own instead of waiting...
