Hello, all.

I am grateful to be here, and hope to find some answers, and perhaps help some others find answers, so we can all glorify God all the more.

I don't know why it matters so much to me (maybe I just need to see something beautiful at the moment), but I really love those illustrations--what they portray, and their colors, and the kindness.

Thank you.

You really seem to have God's grace in your heart. Maybe I will be more like you one day.
The Church (my friend/landlord belongs to)'s handyman came over to do some work today, and I had the same thought--"I'd like to be like this guy!"

Thank you for your very kind words, which do show you are in possession of grace yourself.
I just happen to like playing with pixels, and have an interest in and background in art
.:D
I feel blessed to be able to do what I do, and I love being engaged in the creative process.
It is a blessing to me also that it brings some measure of pleasure to others. Thank you!

I actually cite that as my favorite passage bc it justifies the fact that I don't fully understand the Bible lol

bc it's "unsearchable" and "far past finding out"--so, it's understandable if I don't really get it... But I do want to get it, or else I can't really talk about it, since I'd just be speaking ginberish.

Gibberish, if I'm not mistaken, is the official language of this site.

The colors are calming and give hope.
Hues and shades of purple are my favourite, but I do like to use them all, and have
incorporated the rainbow into many of my Scripture panels because it is a symbol
of God's promise to us
.:). And we know He keeps His promises!

I have some flower seeds where the package says purple pink white.

Do you ever follow naturally occurring color patterns like that?

One says pink, yellow, white, red.

Those must naturally go together.

I don't try to follow formulas, really, but I probably have some sense of colour combos ingrained in me since I have worked as a photo finisher all my adult life, and colour is very important in that field... but I do like to mix it up also, meaning, combine opposites together for the contrast it provides. Though opposites are often called complimentary LOL. Then again, what is true of pigments is not true in light values. For instance, in pigments, orange is opposite to or complimentary to purple, but in light values, it is green, and we do not use the word purple, but magenta, which is a very vibrant pink actually, though an equal measure of blue and red. Haha, it can get confusing .:giggle:. I just try to make them look good .:D

Well, obviously, God inspires your colors. They really feel like a slice of heaven on earth.
