I remember when I was in South Korea, I went out to eat with some students, and one of them handed the chopsticks to cook on the hibachi grill to a female student and said 'something something yoja something something'. She smiled demurely and cooked. I knew 'yoja' meant woman, so I said, "Did you just say 'You are a woman, so you cook for us.'" and they said I must know Korean. I told them I just knew 'yoja' and guessed. The girl had smiled at the joke and cooked. I thought an American girl might scowl over that. Now, South Korea is heavily influenced by feminism and I would imagine women would be uptight about that.
I may be offended, especially if I have to pick up the dishes and wash them too simply because I am a woman? My feelings on this would also vary, depending on if I have help from other women, and the guys are doing something else like putting up the chairs/tables. If this was done in good fun, etc. I would not be offended to cook...however if there is a continuous trend to cook, clean, make the coffee, be the secretary instead of leading, etc. that could be a problem. And, this isn't feminism.

This was a hibachi grill in a restaurant. The guy had been cooking for a while. He gave the cooking chopsticks to the young woman and told her she was a woman, she could cook and let her take over the cooking.

Just think about what is out there for men: women with lots of tatts who show a lot of skin, women who drink, women who have slept around all over the place, raised in a culture where it is encouraged to be disrespectful to men but frowned upon to be disrespectful to women, raised in a culture where divorce and remarriage is a light thing. Some churches teach against some of these things, but in other churches there is an official doctrine but some topics get little attention out of fear of hurting the feelings of new converts... so just never disciple them in how to obey Christ on these matters?
Dude. You need to get out more, meet some people. Your opinion of modern USA women is very odd.

I mean, I know a FEW women like what you describe. My mother is one, except for the tattoos. But out of all the women I know, you describe less than ten percent of them.

Good for you. Do you know mostly devout women who attend church?

cooking is boring if you have to do it ALL the time.

Which some old fashioned men seem to do, leave it for wife while they sit on their butt

Ok maybe you just shot and killed a wild boar or went fishing then its ok but if you aint bringing home any bread you aint winning.

Guess what Jesus did after resurrection? Went fishing, cooked and ate fish with his mates. He didnt ask a woman to do it saying it was her job

No, they mostly don't bother.

What? You think all, or at least most, of the women who don't attend church every sunday are women who sleep around, get tatted up, wear revealing clothing and drink a lot?

If you do, I repeat: You need to meet more people.

Maybe not all vices in the same woman all at once. And for some it is occassionall or rare fornication. Thinking of stats from on that one. Virginity before marriage is very rare in the US. I wouldn't know otherwise. Poor values about marriage seem to be pretty common in the culture.

I read 38% of women in the US have tattoos. And over 53% for the 18 to 49 age category. Most singles aren't looking at the boomer or older age category with the lower rate of getting tattooed.

If a man in the US wants a non-tatooed woman. And the CDC reports 39.7% of women aged 20 to 39 are obese. If a man wants a less than 26. According to CDC stats a little over 12% of 20 to 24 year old females are virgins and it drops to 5% ate age 25. At 24, 30% are married, but that leaves 70% that aren't.

I would imagine the stats are somewhat better in __some__ churches.

If a single man wants a healthy-weight, non-tatooed virgin, that is a tiny percentage, and they don't usually wear signs. You can see the body weight and rule out face, hand and wrist tattoos. The rest is private.
Women can look at similar statistics for men. Weight, promiscuity, etc. are issues with men, along with bad values about marriage, divorce, providing, etc.

If a man (or woman) had the criteria I mentioned, it's slim pickings out there.

I believe God knows where all the needles are in all the haystack and His ears are attentive to the prayers of the righteous.

Gee, how cheerful!

I'm glad I know a lot of people who don't fit your statistics. In fact less than half fit any of them.

That's what I've been saying all along, through multiple of your threads. When I need to find a lady, God will make sure I meet her.

I’m glad my weight didn’t deter my husband from being with me.

Weight, like age, is just a number. If you want to lower your weight, use the metric system. If you want to increase your height, use the metric system.
I'm still waiting for the age metric. I guess I could go with decades...now I'm only 6.

why is it important how much you weigh?
Cant a man lift a woman over a certain weight? Women are not babies.

Order, self-control, purpose, direction? I thought I was supposed to look to God for those, not some flawed human.
No, I’ve done been married once and I ain’t fixin to do that again. My next purpose will be being a grandma.😁
No, I would not go to that type of place to find a spouse. I want a Christian but someone who is more adventerous and easygoing not the stickler type.
Oh come on girls! Don't you want a strong man to come in and take firm control of your life and lead you in a godly direction?

My my, what a bunch of willful heathens we have on this forum... :p

I was given a GRILLMAN smoker for the bbq. Mitre 10 were just giving them away it didnt matter if you were male or female.

I noticed on the BBQ it was two guys at the grill.

Which reminds me I have to organise the community garden suasage sizzle fundraiser.

Some churches instead of doing the Lords supper, just have a sunday bbq instead.

Many Christians women opt for tattoos of Jesus, but my skin is too thin for that.

Also many christian women have their ears pierced.

I dont have pierced ears, when I did they got infected so you cant buy earrings for me sorry.

Now! That can’t be biblical. The Lord’s supper turned into a BBQ lunch? Repent before it’s too late!😂
