Again you misrepresent what I wrote. At any rate, what reward is preferable to God?I never said he did not desire GOD, but he wasn't interested in any of GOD's rewards. He wanted a son. You were the one who calls him wrong.

In Matthew 22:30 Jesus says that there will be no marriage in heaven because we “will be like the angels in heaven.” This verse states that angels do not marry, but it stops short of commenting on their “gender.” Nothing in Jesus’ statement can be taken to imply that angels are masculine, feminine, or neuter.
It’s in the word angel… Every time the Bible mentions a angel it is automatically a masculine noun.
Angel
malak: a messenger
Original Word: מֲלְאָךְ
Part of Speech: Noun Masculine
Transliteration: malak
Phonetic Spelling: (mal-awk')
Definition: a messenger
Can angels reproduce?
https://www.gotquestions.org/can-angels-reproduce.html
The Bible never directly says whether angels reproduce, but Jesus touched on a related subject. When asked about human marriage in eternity, Jesus replied, “At the resurrection people will neither marry nor be given in marriage; they will be like the angels in heaven” (Matthew 22:30). The fact that there is no marriage among angels has led some to believe that angels are “sexless” or genderless. Of course, if angels are genderless, then a safe assumption is that they do not reproduce—but that conclusion cannot be proved from the text. The fact that there is no marriage among angels does not necessarily mean there is no gender and no procreation. Angels do not marry, but we can’t make the leap from “no marriage” to “no gender” or “no reproduction,” however logical such a leap would seem.
In the biblical sense, most often sex equals marriage.
There is no gender of angels in heaven because there such thing as female angels.
“
It is only by the Divine specific act of creation that any created being can be called "a son of God". For that which is "born of the flesh is flesh". God is spirit, and that which is "born of the Spirit is spirit" (John 3:6). Hence Adam is called a "son of God" in Luke 3:38. Those "in Christ" having "the new nature" which is by the direct creation of God (2Cor. 5:17. Eph. 2:10) can be, and are called "sons of God" (John 1:13. Rom. 8:14, 15. 1John 3:1). (*1)
This is why angels are called "sons of God" in every other place where the expression is used in the Old Testament. Job 1:6; 2:1; 38:7. Ps. 29:1; 89:6. Dan. 3:25 (no art.). (*2) We have no authority or right to take the expression in Gen. 6:2, 4 in any other sense. Moreover, in Gen. 6:2 the Sept. renders it "angels". Angels are called "spirits" (Ps. 104:4. Heb. 1:7, 14), for spirits are created by God.” - Bullinger
By believing in Christ we have the opportunity to become sons of God, like angels… Which makes us children of God.
Sons of God don’t have sex with sons of God.
The fact that there is no marriage among angels does not necessarily mean there is no gender and no procreation. Angels do not marry, but we can’t make the leap from “no marriage” to “no gender” or “no reproduction,” however logical such a leap would seem.
Genesis 6 is clear, angels had sex with human women.
These angels in Genesis 6 had sexual desires and took wives. Explain that.Agreed… But we won’t be daughters of man in heaven…for the daughters of man are NOT as the angels…. we will be sons of God.. Which makes us a family, a family that will not be sleeping with each other.
No being married means life time support, not being allowed divorce for any reason ever means lifetime support. Even though the father does not have to give her.Only with the 50 shekels of silver. A one time payment
No being married means life time support, not being allowed divorce for any reason ever means lifetime support. Even though the father does not have to give her.
He is not allowed out of the marriage ever for any reason ever, which means lifetime support, even if the father refuses to give her to him. He is married to her and must support her but does not necesarily get to have her, because he is married to her he must support her for life, mean while the father can refuse to let him have her. The father can keep her in his house while her husband is obligated to support her because she is married to him. He must support her because they are married but the father has the option to keep her from him, while he must support her because they are irrevokably married, and he can sleep alone in his house while she sleeps alone at her fathers house, which does not change the fact that they are indeed married and therefore he must support her while never laying eyes on her again.
These angels in Genesis 6 had sexual desires and took wives. Explain that.
In genesis chapter six, the angels that came to earth were fully functional males bearing seed. It was only on earth that sexual relations were possible because it is only on earth in the flesh that female bodies exist.
Angels are not touched by sexual urges except if they are introduced in a flesh environment where females are present and the angels themselves are vile enough to offend God by violating the lesser human beings.
Also, this was not the only time they attempted to contaminate the bloodline leading to Christ.
Nope thats not what is written."if the father refuses to give her to him. He is married to her and must support her".....if the father does now allow the marriage, he is not married to her. You cannot have it both ways.
Nope thats not what is written.
Being life time support fkr a wife he is disallowed to have is his punishment for defiling the virgin.
The verses never said they could not. GOD allowed it to happen. About contaminating the blood line. The angels cannot see the future, They knew nothings about Jesus birth.
If her father utterly refuses to give her to him, he shall pay money according to the bride-price of virgins."But if her father refuses to let him marry her, the man must still pay him an amount equal to the bride price of a virgin. Exodus 22:17
His "thirsty" way of presenting himself, his insistence on premarital sex, Im sure he never got past a first date.
Right, it is normal and natural to want a son, especially when God personally promises you and that the salvation of man kind will come from your sons. You read what you wanted to read. I said Abraham wasn't wrong in desiring a son, but he was wrong in desiring a son more than desiring God. So you misrepresented what I said and then demeaned me. So...are you saying it's better to prefer things before God?
If you read his other threads you can put together a fairly clear picture.
Indeed.I have and I have to refrain from writing what I think.
