What they don't tell you about treasuries is you have to pay tax on the interest. You get the hidden tax of inflation and you get the tax on the interest. Meanwhile if you have gold there is no tax on it's appreciation and it does not lose value due to inflation. When looked at after tax gold is the far better investment. However, you have to physically hold the gold, something many people do not want to do.

More precisely, the thought here is "all things as ORDINARY"
In other words, physical possessions (and by extension the world and its pursuits) were considered to be subordinate (if not irrelevant) compared to the staggering spiritual reality and dimension that was hitherto not perceived in all of its glorious import.
A very abused verse BTW. People actually think these early Church members were enforcing communism or something like that.
Another twisted interpretation among so many others today.

Don't be decceived. Behind the communist facade they paint for the masses, there is power and $$$money$$$ for all of the right people.
