The saints are raptured before the tribulation.
Nope. The saints are mentioned as being in the trib.
Rev 13:7 And it was given unto him
to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations.
The saints aren't raptured away to protect them, instead they are in the trib and God allowed the beast to overcome them which means to defeat and kill them.
The church will be in the tribulation which is a war against the saints, where some Christians are killed. No one is raptured away to be saved from this:
Rev 12:17 And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went
to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.
Rev 13:7 And it was given unto him
to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations.
Rev 6:9 And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were
slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held:
Rev 6:10 And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth?
Rev 6:11 And white robes were given unto every one of them; and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little season,
until their fellowservants also and their brethren, that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled.
Mat 24:9 Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted,
and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake.
Luk 21:16 And ye shall be betrayed both by parents, and brethren, and kinsfolks, and friends; and
some of you shall they cause to be put to death.
Rev 11:3 And I will give power unto
my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth.
Rev 11:4 These are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks standing before the God of the earth.
Rev 11:5 And if any man will hurt them, fire proceedeth out of their mouth, and devoureth their enemies: and if any man will hurt them, he must in this manner be killed.
Rev 11:6 These have power to shut heaven, that it rain not in the days of their prophecy: and have power over waters to turn them to blood, and to smite the earth with all plagues, as often as they will.
Rev 11:7 And when they shall have finished their testimony, the beast that ascendeth out of the bottomless pit shall make war against them,
and shall overcome them, and kill them.
Rev 20:4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that
were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God,
and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.
