With many other words he warned them; and he pleaded with them, “Save yourselves from this corrupt generation.” (Acts 2:40)
The Apostle Peter at Pentecost pleaded with the people to save themselves from a corrupt generation. He didn't tell them to save the generation. Sadly I think Christians who talk about national revivals, national covenants, godly nations, christian nations are well meaning but deluded. It was always going to be a small gate and a narrow path to life and only a few would find it. God Bless

Don't worry about it. That's how things are in the world.
Most of us still have it pretty good.
You have your health and a house. Pray for those that don't.
You have food on your table. Give a little to those that don't.
You have some money. Give a little to those who don't.
That's all you can do.
The flip side is that, if you don't vote you shouldn't complain.
It doesn't make sense if people who say they are Christian are voting for Democrats because they support abortion and open borders. Why would a real Christian support this evil? It seems that some Democrats just stick to their political party which means they don't care about what is best for America.

If we dont vote, the most evil will be done. We vote to reduce evil as much as we can. God gave us a government in which we have a voice concerning our officials, saddly supposed christians have allowed evil to run rampant, rather than making sure that we vote for Godly men, true Christians.
Hi John I hear you! Here in Canada we are stuck to vote for the ""lesser evil"" either for the Federal elections or provincial elections, the problem is now we have no one decent to vote for, all corrupt to some degree, ot having major confilct of interests. For the next elections if I cannot find a proper candidate I think I may refuse to vote. This woild be a first for me I always vote and I want to but not at any cost. I will see how it goes.

to pray for the healing of the nation, (2nd Chronicles 7:14), is always proper & positive. but when we know the signs of the times how there's such a huge relation to world events, it may seem not to make sense. but since God's timing is not ours, (2nd Peter 3:8), then the praying makes sense. the understanding lies in the fact that the last days are filled with governments, businesses, people & action filled with fraud, corruption, flagrancy, lies, theft of truth, cover-ups, etc. if churches didn't promote praying, life would be much worse. churches would inherit a bad name immediately. like a father not training a child properly. let's never stop praying! i, personally think we are in the last of the last days. hey, we know that time is coming sooner or later.
i think most people assent to that but if your soul, conscious, spirit & mind can not properly give you confidence in a candidate, then you just don't vote to vote! but then you could vote for a "2nd choice" & hope to God a Godly politician gets in.
I think her point was that you pose the subject as though you are above reproach in the matter, when, in fact, you are just another aspect of the problem.
