We had a lot of smoke from fires cloud our skies for a few days over the last weekend, and it got so chilly with the lack
of sunshine that I pulled my winter blanket onto the bed and turned off my fan, which is normally running all the time.

No, let summer linger. I'm enjoying the temperate weather here on the Oregon coast. Not ready to be stuck inside while it rains.

As long as you are not pushing your preferences on the majority, you enjoy your heat.

PS Here where I am in Spain it is at least sunny much of the year. Not much rain, but when it does rain with any seriousness, you had better run for cover.
I love the seasons,in their due times, but I also tend to prefer the cooler weather.
It must depend upon our geological location, or better yet upon our meteorological locations... God bless you. I did not want to come off as arrogant..not my style.

I think the Lord must be tired of me asking Him to please bring the temperature down. 105 is just too hot for all the little animals and birds outside—and of course people, too! We’ve been turning the sprinklers on outside for the little squirrels; they love it!

Here I have water out for the doves that come in, but it also attracts a certain mischevious, danger cat. I leave them to their ways. Also certain bushes and a tree have been allowed to over grow because the smaller birds like them a lot........i.e a hibiscus and a plum tree. And so it goes. The Lord is definitely in charge of them all.
