1 Timothy 3:16 - 4:1
16 And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness:
God was manifested in the flesh,
Justified in the Spirit,
Seen by angels,
Preached among the Gentiles,
Believed on in the world,
Received up in glory.

1 Now the Spirit expressly says that in latter times some will depart from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons,
3:16 This verse contains an early hymn of the church. The hymn is three couplets.Manifested in the flesh refers to Christ’s incarnation, the fact that Jesus became man (see John 1:14).
