So, I was deadheading my marigolds on my porch one morning when suddenly I heard a little "tsk!" and realized a praying mantis was staring at me. I was like, "Well, hi there! I did not see you there!..." and then it slowly extended its right front appendage toward the street which made me look in the direction of its point. " I said, "I don't understand... I need to go southwest or something?..." And then I realized it was just telling me, "There's the next marigold needs deadheading, kid, move along with your business. You're blowing my cover."

Animals were not created in the image of God. That means, they do not have an eternal spirit, as humans do. Also, we are not told anywhere in Scripture that animals are to face final judgment at the end of the age, but this is clearly spoken for mankind (Romans 2: 6-10; 3: 19-26). Therefore, no eternal hell and likely no heaven is awaiting animals. i.e., they are not eternally punished for sin (as non-believers are) or given eternal life (as believers in Christ are [John 3:16; Romans 6:23; Titus 3:4–7]).

I wonder if any will be like DUDE...WHY DID YOU EAT ME ?
Or perhaps … ‘I was honoured to be dinner for a son of Adam.’

Or maybe I just need to stop climbing through the spare room furniture. 😎

does that theory match the heart of Jesus though? Fields and homes are promised plus 100 times more than whatever is lost. Seems pretty straightforward to me something glorious that may very well include animals that are in their original Genesis 1and 2 pre-fall state. Of course one would have to believe in restoration of all things (heaven coming to earth at the end) or renewal(all things new) not the coming of (all new things.) there is a difference in theory there. But I won’t go there today.

““Truly I tell you,” Jesus replied, “no one who has left home or brothers or sisters or mother or father or children or fields for me and the gospel will fail to receive a hundred times as much in this present age: homes, brothers, sisters, mothers, children and fields—along with persecutions—and in the age to come eternal life.”

I think that God loves animals so much, he placed them on earth. Since God loves animals, I believe there are animals in Heaven. Billy Graham once said “if it takes my dog to be with me in Heaven to further my happiness, I believe he will be there”. This is not a direct quote.

God bless you.

Animals do not have a soul.
They can be used by God or Satan (if God permits).

Numbers 22:28 KJV
And the LORD opened the mouth of the ass, and she said unto Balaam, What have I done unto thee, that thou hast smitten me these three times?

Matthew 8:31-32 KJV
So the devils besought him, saying, If thou cast us out, suffer us to go away into the herd of swine.
[32] And he said unto them, Go. And when they were come out, they went into the herd of swine: and, behold, the whole herd of swine ran violently down a steep place into the sea, and perished in the waters.

Someday we're gonna get to Heaven and be like, "But where's the... I thought there was gonna be... Wait, why is THAT... I thought we wouldn't..."

And God's gonna be like, "Dude, I don't know WHERE you got that from. I never said anything about that. And frankly I get a little tired of people twisting my words like a pretzle just because they want to believe something."

About the topic at hand: We'll find out when we get there. Until then, we got bigger things to worry about.

What about lynxes?

I am just not quite sure about them.

I am thinking that maybe they go to jail.

Directly to jail.

They do not pass "Go".

They do not collect $200.

:p

On a more serious note, what do you people think this means?

Revelation 21:1

"And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea."

I have always wondered about the bold-faced part, but, for some reason, I have never really done a study on it. Does this mean that there will be no more sea creatures? Does anybody know?

Dude!

I am like Mr. Seafood.

Lobster, shrimp, mussels, clams, piranha fish, scuba divers, army boots...

Wait, what?!?

Sorry, I got a little delirious when I got past the clams.

Heaven... But with no dolphins, Beluga whales, or hammerhead sharks?😭

Well... I know God would have something even greater there if not, but I would still miss them. 🥺 🐬🦈🐳

I have fed dolphins, and I have seen hammerhead sharks up close. No Beluga whales, but I have been up close and personal with an orca or killer whale.

No, I am not some big world traveler. I have just been to SeaWorld in Florida.

What about swordfish?

Are you telling me that there will be no swordfish?!?

Just as well.

Lynx would figure out a way to computerize them and get them to joust.

By the way, Lynx. I am just messing with you because you seem to have a sense of humor.

No offense intended. If any was taken, then I am sorry.
