Can you be saved without loving God?
What is Paul declaring as the source of your salvation?

Romans 10:9
That if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.

You do not start out by loving God but believing on the Lord Jesus Christ (Acts 16:30,31).
Love for God follows.
OK so to believe on the Lord Jesus does it mean your accepting Jesus for what He did for us out of love, or something else? Also, is Jesus always considered to be 'God', ergo was it God who died on the Cross for our sins? Thx.

Ok, so does love play a part in accepting Jesus as Lord? Also, 'if we believe in our heart God raised Him from the dead' then the person has a knowledge of who God is already? Thx.

The consciousness of "what He did for us out of love" may not be at the forefront. What would be at the forefront is that Christ -- GOD in human form -- died for my personal sins and guilt, and shed His blood for the forgiveness of my sins and the cleansing of my soul. Then He rose again for my justification. That I would receive the gift of eternal life.

Probably the fear of the Lord is the leading factor as it is the beginning of wisdom.

The fear of Hell should drive sinners to Christ. The Bible says "God is angry with sinners every day" and "God now commandeth all men everywhere to repent". Is the reality of Hell being preached?

The Bible doesn't teach us to fear Hell. It teaches us to fear the One who can send us there.

Once again you are mistaken. Study Mark 9 carefully. What you said is partially true. And partial truths are very dangerous.

Matthew 10:28 says exactly what I said. Your reference speaks of the terrible conditions in Hell, but no mention is made of fear.

To fear the One Who can destroy both body and soul there.

Something many deny in favour of promoting the lie of Satan
at the heart of the fall of man and corruption of all creation.

The order that it occurs in the New Testament is as follows.

1) You believe in the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ
2) Because you believe in Jesus Christ you are given the gift of the Holy Spirit
3) When you receive the Holy Spirit, the gifts of the Holy Spirit should become apparent
4) One of the gifts of the Holy Spirit is love
5) Now you commence your Christian walk

Therefore, one cannot earn salvation, because salvation is a gift granted to those that believe in Jesus Christ.

Love flows from the gift of the Holy Spirit after you believe.

HAHAHAHAHA:ROFL: I never expected such a silly response. Jesus said that you should be willing to lose a limb because Hell is so fearful. "But no mention is made of fear". Really silly.

And yet He actually said fear the One who can destroy your soul in hell. The fear of God is the beginning of wisdom. The fear of hell, if it doesn't lead to the fear of God and repentance does nothing. We are nowhere told to fear hell. In fact, I have absolutely no fear of hell.

Is the true Gospel being preached today?

If forsaking sin and taking up one's cross are not taught, then no that isn't the true saving Gospel of Jesus Christ.

We don't have 2000 years of people being able and/or allowed to read the scripture.

We only have a few hundred of that, and less still for people to culturally believe in their own personal sovereignty to decide what it means.

It doesn't take long for water outside of a riverbed to flow in all directions
Yes, we do have 2000 years of scripture available to the masses.

Why is that you say?

For many centuries, the public reading of the scripture in church was the practice. It is not how modern churches conduct their services. But it was the way that the early churches performed their service. They recited creeds, and sang doctrinal songs.

When you take a look at the revelation of the Christ and His atonement for us. There is not a lot of information to absorb.
The gospel is simple and many of Paul's letters were also simple letters.
