Only the "light" was seen a "good". Then came the division.

Gen 1:4
And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness.

Why do you have to be belligerent about it? I said from the start I don't insist on anything... it's simply thinking aloud about the apparent timeline discrepancies.

I don't deny anything about the creation. I believe God created all of it in 6 days.

Genesis 1
God blessed them; and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth, and subdue it; and rule over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the sky and over every living thing that [ak]moves on the earth.”

So, the man and woman were told on the 6th day to rule over the fish of the sea.

and Genesis 2
And out of the ground the Lord God formed every animal of the field and every bird of the sky, and brought them to the man to see what he would call them; and whatever the man called a living creature, that was its name. 20 The man gave names to all the livestock, and to the birds of the sky, and to every animal of the field,

So Adam named all the animals and birds, and then Eve messed up, and they were cast out of the garden, with God telling them to be fruitful and multiply .... all on the 6th day.... right after he told Eve that she was going to experience greater pain in childbirth, and Adam was going to have to work his butt off to raise any crops....

and right after man and woman messed up completely, and were banished... God looked at it and said it was good....

Remember.... the word does not say that Adam and Eve were created on the 6th day.... only that mankind was created, male and female.
Here is a thought:

God created the "two great lights" for "for days, and years".....on the fourth day!
So we are left without a heavenly clockwork mechanism up to that point. Furthermore, we have no idea when exactly this cosmic timekeeping clockwork mechanism was set in motion. Nor what the "oscillation beat rate" was back then.

I would surmise that perhaps Moses was the only person who had insight as to God's timing measuring rod at creation. Or maybe not.

Gen 1:14
And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years:
Gen 1:15
And let them be for lights in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth: and it was so.
Gen 1:16
And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also.
Gen 1:17
And God set them in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth,
Gen 1:18
And to rule over the day and over the night, and to divide the light from the darkness: and God saw that it was good
Gen 1:19
And the evening and the morning were the fourth day.

some good thoughts there 😉.

I suggested it half way through the thread to.

I even suggested they may not have been set in motion untill after the day of rest 😉

Cannot agree there. I reside firmly in the "Sons of God" as angelic beings camp.
I have not studied it, but I somehow believed that angelic beings were not "sexual" in nature... they don't have sex/procreate... basically androgynous... Don't know where I heard that, but like I said, I have not studied it.

Yes.... I'm still sort of stuck on the phrasing of "evening and morning, the sixth day".... we normally would assume that is a 24 hour timeframe... evening and morning...
The difficulty arises in our understanding of time, versus God's approach to it.

It could be that God's evening and morning spanned a thousand years... we just don't know.

Just as, in my hypothesis, we don't know how much time could have elapsed between the 7th day, and the creation of the garden and Adam.

One possibility in my hypothesis is that God created mankind on the 6th day, and sent them out into the world to be fruitful and multiply.... and to have dominion over the fish in the sea, and the beasts, etc.... and they were vegetarians....
Sometime later, God began HIS chosen people... the line of Adam... he created Adam, and the garden, and placed Adam (then Eve) into the garden.... supposedly to live there in perpetuity. Perhaps God saw how "mankind" was doing, and decided to go another way for his chosen people.
When his chosen man and woman messed up, he banished them from the garden, into the world, where there were already other humans. This would explain how Adam called Eve the mother of all living, because he did not know of any other humans on earth... his "world" was the garden.
When Cain killed Abel, and was driven away, he was worried that someone "out there" would find him and kill him. He also married at some point and started a family. This could have been a "mankind" woman. This branch of Adam's lineage continued to be polluted through marrying "mankind" women.....
The world (mankind) got steadily worse until God decided to clean the slate, leaving only Noah (of Adams' lineage).....
From that point onward, the only humans on earth would be God's chosen race, not "mankind".

This could explain why there is evidence of "humans" all over the world, in places that would have been virtually impossible to "spread" to in just a few hundred years...

anyway, it's interesting to think about.... I'm certainly not saying for sure this is the way it happened, but it fits the Genesis narrative with less speculation and assumption than the traditional "understanding"....

Good morning Hornetguy .:). Just inserting here that Jesus was purposed from before the foundation of the world.

Do you have Netflix? Recently, I watched the beginning of a documentary on a relatively new discovery:

Named Homo naledi by South African scientists in 2015, the creature was 5 feet tall and about 100 pounds,
but with brains that were roughly one-third the size of ours. Despite their comparatively smaller brains,
Homo naledi seemed to practice sophisticated burial techniques, something long considered to be unique
to humans. Widely reported last month by scientific publications, this discovery was uncovered by
paleoanthropologist and National Geographic Explorer in Residence Lee Berger and was filmed
for a gripping new documentary available on July 17.

About the " sun" in Malachi 4:2

2 But for you who fear my name the sun of righteousness shall rise, with healing in its wings. You shall go forth leaping like calves from the stall.

Sun was made on fourth day!

Jesus was exactly on time---4th day ===4000 years

Netflix is churning out far too much evil for me to ever consider actually giving them my money for a subscription.
Starve the cancer I say.

I never give my money to hollyweird either by actually paying to see ANYTHING that they create. Zero cash flow from my end.

Psalm dedicated to angels

82 God has taken his place in the divine council;
in the midst of the gods he holds judgment:
2 “How long will you judge unjustly
and show partiality to the wicked?Selah
3 Give justice to the weak and the fatherless;
maintain the right of the afflicted and the destitute.
4 Rescue the weak and the needy;
deliver them from the hand of the wicked.”
5 They have neither knowledge nor understanding,
they walk about in darkness;
all the foundations of the earth are shaken.
6 I say, “You are gods,
sons of the Most High, all of you;
7 nevertheless, you shall die like men,
and fall like any prince.”[a]
8 Arise, O God, judge the earth;
for to thee belong all the nations!

Regarding the age of the earth or anything else, science has proven time to be stretchy and elastic, so we can't really put an exact date on anything, heck even the Bible suggests time can slow or stop or even go into reverse..:)

"Joshua said to the Lord in the presence of Israel 'Sun, stand still over Gibeon,
and you, moon, over the Valley of Aijalon.”
So the sun stood still, and the moon stopped"...Joshua 10:12-14

God said-“Behold, I will bring again the shadow of the degrees, which is gone down in the sundial of Ahaz, ten degrees backward".
So the sun returned ten degrees, by which degrees it was gone down.” (Isaiah 38.8)

Your theory may account for these phenomenon. This case is undoubtedly legit. And this creature is a somewhat different species than a western bigfoot. More like a homo erectus, with a very humanlike face and proportions.

https://www.sasquatchcanada.com/manitoba-sightings.html

The takeaway here is that these creatures are definitely not human as in sons of Adam. They are bereft of that sort of God-likeness in their bodies or their minds or their spirits. There are also several different "types".

THIS on the other hand is a Sasquatch type creature with enormous height, bulk, and much longer arm length......1:1 arm/leg/torso ratio totally non-human. This thing has arms the diameter of the trees. Must be 10 ft tall and 1200-1500 lbs. And demonstrating the "hopping gait" that witnesses have been writing about for a long time. Very very rare to see it on video.

The William Roe case is 100% legit.

https://sasquatchalberta.com/classic-encounters/william-roes-1957-sworn-affidavit/

What's worse, consider the infamous 1973-74 bigfoot-UFO flap, of which I have read very much. Crazy stuff going on.

I WONDER,

if, i explain how the Ancient Hebrews believed about the Nephilim, it could make people understand it better?

The Jews believe in Fallen Angels
and then Demons.
The Demons, were BRED as Nephilim.
when a Nephilim died, it's spirit becomes a Demon.

And the Ancient Hebrews believe Genesis 6 is the Second Attack on Earth towards God's Creation of human.

Literally, by the time it got to Noah, over a BILLION literal Demons in Giant form were roaming and giving themselves over to disgusting perversions. God KILLED them ALL. Well, except for the genetics made it through the flood in one of Noah's sons, wives.

In theory, when Goliath died, his spirit became a Demon. He was Nephilim.

That is how the Ancient Jews believed from the time of Solomon's Temple till 70 A.D. Temple.
And we never see Jesus correcting this Belief and Jesus, Peter, Paul, Jude, John all Quoted the Oral Tradition of Enoch without adding any correction to them, ever.
