I'm sorry, but how many times can I say this. You and I completely agree as to the essence of Christ. Im afraid its nonsensical, in the circumstances for anyone to say you cannot then inherit eternal life if you title Christ the Son of God. You may as well throw out the entire bible if the name son of God is not enough to believe in to get to Heaven

I was actually just thinking that ANY REAL Follower of God, believes the ENTIRE Bible.
and if Paul said, Jesus, is our Great God and Savior, that should be easy to say, because it is factually in the Bible, that I follow God, so, I believe what Paul wrote about Jesus.

I think you believe that God is ONE and deals with humanity in 3 specific distinct ways that are extensions of the One God.

I think you see God as Triune in how He Works.

You just don't call it a trinity.

You know, when you think about it, what is the bottom line here? What the bible demands belief wise to enter heaven, or what people on the internet demand? My bottom line is, and always will be the bible. I can only repeat, if you and I agree on the essence of Christ but disagreed on his title, I know where the safe ground is scripturally as to the title you must give Christ to be saved. Philippians 2:10-11, "that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those who are in heaven, and on earth, and under the earth, vs11, and every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is LORD, to the glory of God." If you know the bible well enough, it is wise not to pick out random verses and claim you follow the whole bible and infer someone else does not. For if they had a mind to, they could respond with verses of their own.

And you called it cherry picking?

13 waiting for our blessed hope, the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ,
14 who gave himself for us to redeem us from all lawlessness and to purify for himself a people for his own possession who are zealous for good works.

All about JESUS being Our Great God, Savior, WHO GAVE HIMSELF for us to REDEEM us.

This is a false statement.

We do not give Christ any Title. He IS Lord and those who will stand before him HE will say to some or many I never knew you.

Matthew 7:21-23
21 “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will of My Father who is in heaven. 22 Many will say to Me on that day [when I judge them], ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, and driven out demons in Your name, and done many miracles in Your name?’ 23 And then I will declare to them publicly, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me [you are banished from My presence], you who act wickedly [disregarding My commands].’


One can acknowledge Jesus as Lord and still not be saved.

You have an advantage here. I'm not prepared to do a scripture quoting contest with you. An honest and humble person, who has read the bible well enough would know it would not be so easy if two people both kept quoting scripture to the other

I really cannot understand people on the internet, thank goodness you do not get this in the churches(I never have anyway) The biblical demand for the title of Christ to be saved is ''The Son of God'' Only head theologists would argue that is not sufficient, especially as there is no disagreement on the essence of Christ.
