How can you be spiritually minded as you believe a person will be condemned for standing on the plain words of Christ when he walked this earth?
I am not going to continue with you, based on your views of condemnation for a person who stands on the plain words of Christ. I'm not your judge, so I will leave it there. Goodbye

Waiting for you to know what the gifts of Christ are

Answer my question:

"Do you know what the Gifts of Christ are to the Church? Please let me know if you do and where in the word of God they are. "
it is in the bible do you know?

I will help you out look in New Tesament. I'm waiting

stop lying and reading things into what was said. No one has said that. That is dishonesty.

In the plain words of Jesus... Jesus states unequivocally, “I and the Father are one.”
Go on then, just this once, but do not expect me to go any further:
I have given them the glory that you gave me, that they(believers) may be one as(AS) we are one John17:22
Magenta, you are much better than this, there is no disagreement as to the essence of Christ.

I wrote:

If a person believes the Father is the only true God and greater than the Son, can they inherit eternal life with that view?

CSI replied:

the answer is no.

John14:28, John10:29, John17:3

I know this is the internet, but surely there are some people here prepared to accept the truth

You joined yesterday so do please excuse me for not being clear on what you believe and/or what it is
you are trying to prove... could you please clarify for me whether or not you accept the Deity of Christ?
I can understand people being unable to intellectually grasp the Trinity in its wholeness, but that is
a side issue to me and not as important as understanding Who Jesus is. Thank you.

I have taught the Bible long enough to know, anyone not born and raised into a family, who believes the Trinity, can read the Bible and clearly see ONE GOD working in many ways. Even the Ancient Hebrew Language means One True God, even though, when we translate it to English becomes plural. But the Hebrews don't care about English Translation because GOD gave them the Original Version, so, why would the Hebrew want the English knock off, when it Does Not match the Hebrew Meaning?

Anyway, I have to believe, that in your conversion Moment, you prayed to Jesus and confessed yourself as a Sinner needing His Work that He fulfilled upon the Cross. This, and this Alone, is what connects you to the Father. So, You most likely are connected to the Father but don't understand it that way. Which is cool. Not a big deal at all.

I am just trying to establish you here so what others read aren't confusing them.

My prayer is not for them alone. I pray also for those who will believe in me through their message, 21 that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me. 22 I have given them the glory that you gave me, that they may be one as we are one— 23 I in them and you in me—so that they may be brought to complete unity. John17:20-23

There is a common link that brings all of the above together, it is the Holy Spirit. How can believers be in Father and Son? Only through the Holy Spirit, there is no other way. Jesus prayed: just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us. Father and Son are in each other through the Holy Spirit.
Jesus prayed that believers may be one AS AS he and his Father are one. Believers can only be as one through the Holy Spirit, of one heart and one mind in unity. So we know from Jesus own words he and the Father are one through the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit who fully resides in Christ. Now this is where head theology goes mad. You call the Holy Spirit God himself, so, You are I in essence both believe the same concerning Christ. He is fully possessed of the Spirit. If I then only termed Christ the Son of God, biblically speaking, as we in reality agree on Christ's essence, am I on safe and secure ground according to the bible. What do you think?

I think you did not answer my question. Please keep it simple. Yes or no should suffice.

Do you accept the Deity of Christ?

If you read my post to magenta I cannot explain it better than that. I believe in a trinity BTW. I have always been to trinitarian churches. But I have never been to any that make the demands of you some on the internet do

Magenta, I just saw the bit you added. The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of God and He fully dwells in Christ. Therefore, Christ has the deity of the Father fully dwelling in him

I make no demands about the Trinity because Today's Version DON'T EVEN ALIGN with the CREEDS.
Today's Version, is sacrilegious and heretical when you Compare it to the Creeds.

So, i am not judging you at all.

But, it's good to know, you do know the Truth, because you've been in the Church that teaches a form of it.

There's a reason people are dodgy. What they won't say is as telling as what they do say.

I hope you are not referring to me. Ive greatly enjoyed reading your posts and agreed nearly all of them as far as I can remember. Surely you wouldn't want a ''dodgy'' person agreeing with you

Simply wrote? LOL. You wrote 286 words for a one word answer.

Is Jesus God, yes or no? Yes or no is all that it takes.

You know what else Jesus said? Let your yes be yes and your no be no. All else comes from the devil.

I paraphrased that a bit, but the meaning is clear enough.

Thank you for the advice. And thank you for not being inflexibly judgemental. For what my opinion is worth, it speaks highly of you
i know most of how these people believe outside of the Trinity.

just remember, there's true Salvational Scripture that no matter what we must and have to agree to.
the Trinity is not one of them!
But a MUST, Jesus is God!

Titus 2:13 waiting for our blessed hope, the appearing [Second Coming] of the glory of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ

Paul wrote: Jesus, is not just God, but Our Great God and Our Savior!

So, we must believe that Jesus is God!

I will answer with Jesus own words. With respect, if that is a problem for you, you need to take it up with him:
Now this is eternal life, that they may know you(the Father) the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom you have sent John17:3

If you believe Jesus is God, naturally through the Spirit, the Father and Holy Spirit, will make sense to you!
