in other news, remember when my sixth grade teacher taught the class the Greek alphabet?
how we learned the correct pronunciation of the letter pi sounds like like pea?

and my ninth grade algebra teacher taught the class this phrase: how i wish i could remembers pi digits today?
the number of letters in each word correspond to the first nine digits of Pi, but should we have reported him to the English department for awful grammar?

and you know i'm all for a rant? and that we were homeschooling our kiddos in the 80s? (rant away!)

Then you must know how tough people had it trying to homeschool when it was almost considered a "crime" and unheard of in the 80's, huh?
