Leaders can have a tremendous impact for good.

It is about what Trump stands for/symbolizes which people are attracted to, not that he is worshiped that is just your bias and perception, some

As well this attitude/belief that Jesus is going to return and fix everything abdicating our role as salt and light, of not using good judgement and discernment is one of the reasons the USA is polarized and a society in decline.

These are not the end times.
Just what would have to happen for you to think these ARE the end times?

Or which prophecy has yet to be fulfilled before Jesus would return?

In perilous and dark times if just a few people are faithful enough and humble themselves back to God enough he will send them servants to administer to their needs, and he will trounce the villains by raising heroes that will fight for the love of his name, praise Jesus.

SAVE AMERICA TRUMP 2024!

PRAISE JESUS!

If you think we the people run the government you are sadly deceived.

Corporations and the rich run this government.
you are half right.

the first sentence is correct.

the second sentence is right as in naming corporations.

but, the other part is kind of right, but add to that the i m f , the world bank, the united nations, the council on foreign nations, and the club of rome.

they are the real ones in charge of the u s government....

If a better candidate emerged and ran against him. (We will have to see who is gonna be on the ticket.) Personally, I think he is too old and He should throw his support to someone else; Not sure who exactly.
It would be great if an actual christian with a proven track record of good works would arise, but Im not gonna hold my breath.

Just what would have to happen for you to think these ARE the end times?

Or which prophecy has yet to be fulfilled before Jesus would return?
I follow the scripture, so I am not looking for signs of the end times, Jesus already made clear it to His audience, so why would I not believe Him? i have more if you would like.

Matthew 24:34
Assuredly, I say to you,
this generation will by no means pass away till all these things take place.

1 Peter 2:9-10
But you are a chosen generation a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light; who once were not a people but are now the people of God, who had not obtained mercy but now have obtained mercy.

Matthew 16:27-28
For the Son of Man will come in the glory of His Father with His angels, and then He will reward each according to his works. “Assuredly, I say to you,
there are some standing here who shall not taste death till they see the Son of Man coming in His kingdom

Matthew 10:23
When they persecute you in this city, flee to another. For assuredly, I say to you, you will not have gone through the cities of Israel before the Son of Man comes.

Hebrews 10:37
For yet in a very little while, He who is coming will come, and
will not delay.

Hebrews 1:1-2
God, who at various times and in various ways spoke in time past to the fathers by the prophets, has in
these last day spoken to us by His Son, whom He has appointed heir of all things, through whom also He made the worlds;

1 Corinthians 10:11
Now all these things happened to
them as examples, and they were written for
our admonition, upon whom the ends of the ages have come.

Hebrews 9:26
He then would have had to suffer often since the foundation of the world; but now, once at the
end of the ages He has appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of Himself.

1 John 2:18
Little children,
it is the last hour and as you have heard that the Antichrist is coming, even now many antichrists have come, by which we know that it is the last hour.

1 Corinthians 7:29-31
But this I say, brethren,
the time is short, so that from now on even those who have wives should be as though they had none, those who weep as though they did not weep, those who rejoice as though they did not rejoice, those who buy as though they did not possess, and those who use this world as not misusing it.
For the form of this world is passing away.

Luke 21:20-22
“But when you see Jerusalem surrounded by armies, then know that its desolation is near. Then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains, let those who are in the midst of her depart, and let not those who are in the country enter her. For these are the days of vengeance, that
all things which are written may be fulfilled.

Devon Archer and a defense of Joe Biden

I realize that as a result of his testimony everyone is saying that this is proof that Joe Biden lied to the American people, that he is involved in Hunter's selling access to the Whitehouse and that he is guilty of fraud and treason.

In his defense I would argue that these conclusions all depend on what the definition of is is.

Again, mammon worship, cheating workers, self-idolatry, abandoning the poor sick and foreign, and embracing lies and hypocrisy are NOT Christian values.

The fruit of the Holy Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, gentleness and self control. There is none of that going on in the maga circle.

Your boy trump WILL win in '24.

Just don't be fooled by who he works for.
What you have listed are not Christian values.

A little disingenuous to conflate the "fruit of the Spirit" with Christian values and think you have somehow made a case against Trump.

As well, a person does not have to be a Christian to embrace Christian values.

Do you need me to tell you what Christian values are?

Seems after Desantis has lately bombed in the primary for making some rather stupid comments about slavery as well as appearing generally weak and feckless on the issue of Ukraine-Russia and foreign policy in general that the GOP race is over just as it began. At the very first opening night townhall to begin the election season President Trump showed that he is the clear frontrunner for the GOP. The election season has officially begun and it seems like Jesus has made a clear path of redemption for the USA to Save America called Trump 2024. May the degenerates and reprobates of America open their eyes and see reason and cast aside their wicked demonic liberal egos if for no other reason than to spare their children from the wrath of God and the imminent disaster that 5 more years of evil old satanic Democrat misrule would mean. Save America Trump 2024. PRAISE JESUS!

The Republicans are going to lose the next election, regardless of who's the leader.

So you said "These are not the end times" and these verses you reference are the basis for that statement?

Matthew 24:34 Assuredly, I say to you, this generation will by no means pass away till all these things take place.

A Bible verse that says Israel being replanted and putting forth leaves along with all the other trees, the other nations formed at the same time in the Middle East, this verse telling us that this generation shall by no means pass away until all these things take place, that is the basis to say "these are not the end times"? Matthew 24:34 Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled.

Then you quote 1Peter 2:9-10 But you are a chosen generation a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light; who once were not a people but are now the people of God, who had not obtained mercy but now have obtained mercy.

This verse seems to have absolutely nothing to do with Matthew 24:34 except for this word "generation". In your translation the same word, but they aren't.

Matthew 24:34 uses this word:

γενεά, -ᾶς, ἡ, (ΓΕΝΩ, γίνομαι [cf. Curtius, p. 610]); Sept. often for דּוֹר; in Greek writings from Homer down;
1. a begetting, birth, nativity: Herodotus 3, 33; Xenophon, Cyril 1, 2, 8, etc.; [others make the collective sense the primary significance, see Curtius as above].

1Peter 2:9-10 uses this word:

γένος, -ους, τό, (ΓΕΝΩ, γίνομαι), race;
a. offspring: τινός, Acts 17:28f (from the poet Aratus); Revelation 22:16.
b. family: [Acts 4:6, see ἀρχιερεύς, 2 at the end]; Acts 7:13 [others refer this to c.]; Acts 13:26.
c. stock, race: Acts 7:19; 2 Corinthians 11:26; Philippians 3:5; Galatians 1:14; 1 Peter 2:9; (Genesis 11:6; Genesis 17:14, etc. for עַם); nation (i. e. nationality or descent from a particular people): Mark 7:26; Acts 4:36; Acts 18:2, 24.

Two very different thoughts. We are a family of priests and kings.

In Matthew the Lord said that the people born when the Jews return to Israel will not pass away.

As for these verses I cannot see how anyone would read these and conclude this is not the end times.

Hebrews 1:1-2 God, who at various times and in various ways spoke in time past to the fathers by the prophets, has in these last day spoken to us by His Son, whom He has appointed heir of all things, through whom also He made the worlds;

1 Corinthians 10:11 Now all these things happened to them as examples, and they were written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the ages have come.

The allegations have not been proven in a court of law.

"Bad character" is ambiguous and rather an infantile way of speaking about a person in a leadership position.
So you're hurt that Trump isn't your knight in shining armor, just like the day you found out that there wasn't a Santa Claus?

I didn't pick that up, the sense I got was this:

Romans 2:12 Wherefore thou art without excuse, O man, whosoever thou art that judgest: for wherein thou judgest another, thou condemnest thyself; for thou that judgest dost practise the same things. 2 And we know that the judgment of God is according to truth against them that practise such things. 3 And reckonest thou this, O man, who judgest them that practise such things, and doest the same, that thou shalt escape the judgment of God?

I remember my sister bloviating about the comment Trump made about grabbing a woman's private parts. She was going on and on in full "outrage" mode but for me all I could see was the big neon sign on top of her head flashing "hypocrite".

I would sit in lily white gatherings in well to do suburbs where everyone was condemning Trump of being a racist. I lived in Queens and worked in Brooklyn in an inner city public school, I was the only one who lived and worked in minority communities with people of a variety of shades of color, and that includes my wife and her family. Those were family gatherings and everyone there knew this. Did anyone want to hear what I or anyone from the inner city had to say? No. It came across to me as "absurd racism". Something out of a Monty Python skit.

I tried to explain to them that adults who were black or brown did not support BLM, they were not against the police, they definitely did not support defund the police. No one wanted to hear it.

I have no allegiance to Trump. So I have no idea what you are talking about.

Unlike some people I try to be fair minded about leaders and go by their record not their personal lives.

What is the end of the ages?
No, you used the term, not me, you define what you were saying because you made it very clear that "this is not the end times". I don't use that term.

I understand the confusion.

1. The 70th week is what I use to refer to the seven years that concludes with Armageddon.

2. Tribulation is what I refer to as a period that is undefined and for a variety of reasons could refer to the entire church age.

3. The blessed hope or the redemption of our body is what I use for the rapture since those are Biblical terms.

There are dozens of reasons not to support Trump.
One that should have permanently discredited him, was making fun of a reporter in 2016 of with a muscular disease when he ran for office the first time.
Anyone who has witnessed a friend or family member suffer from an illness like multiple sclerosis or Parkinson's disease, knows how despicable that kind of behaviour is.
