I respect you greatly H&H, but the more I hear this guy, the more convinced I am that he is bad news, and doesn't represent how Christ told his disciples to act.

We can agree homosexuality is sin. Without any reservations or qualifications, but
Just watching a few minutes of him on executing homosexuals reminded me of this admonition from the Lord.

Luke 9:54-56

New King James Version

54 And when His disciples James and John saw this, they said, “Lord, do You want us to command fire to come down from heaven and consume them, just as Elijah did?”
55 But He turned and rebuked them, and said, “You do not know what manner of spirit you are of. 56 For the Son of Man did not come to destroy men’s lives but to save them.” And they went to another village.

Where does Jesus call anyone to be executed before the judgement?

Maybe you should go back and listen to the links I posted before judging a servant who's church has 11 soul winning times per week to reach others regardless of who they are. Most churches, pastor's and members live their communities so very much that they no longer have one per week.

In the past you haven't been one to rail against a brother. I will not hold I Corinthians 5:11 against you and my sister here as you don't know what you do. It doesn't matter to me if you don't like him, but Listen to his actual teaching on the subject before making your own judgement based on fake news and LGPEDO propaganda. They have witnessed to more homos than I suspect the entire forum has witnessed to in their collective lives. He has a view that the moral and legal laws of Leviticus are correct and only changed where prescribed by the new testament.

He does hate homos that he believes are pedophiles. He found out there were some that were convicted of that and has been vocal ever since that they are not allowed in the church. I agree with him on that. A man can't live the children while placing them in jeopardy of harm. These days, there are evangelical churches that actually treat queerness as a special honor that needs to be catered to as their special virtue signal group. Even some of the independent fundamental Baptist churches that used to preach against that twenty years ago are now promoting the homos as good children's workers who should be given opportunities to work with kids! I've got the recordings of Johnny Nixon's wicked ministry, Born That Way. He was promoted for years by one of the biggest name Baptist pastor's from the previous generation.
In fairness to brother Anderson, he said time and time again that he does NOT believe that capital crimes are to be carried out by the churches. He correctly stated that it's the responsibility of the government to provide due process and if convicted, then they are to carry out that responsibility. A righteousness government would do that instead of paying tax dollars to media and foreign governments to close the gospel to their people.

One example of the hatred that was certainly due to the police of a nearby town....
A woman and her daughter were soul winning in a neighborhood when the police didn't like that, so she was assaulted and thrown in a cage with false accusations trumped up.
The church responded by going to the police station and singing Christmas carols and sharing to gospel to that entire neighborhood. That's a real hate group, huh?

He is a false preacher if there ever was one. He issues with the law aside. He has just said and preached radical things. He's horribly anti-Semitic and just bizarre in what he preaches. I assume he's doing it for attention, but I also think he's also not quite all there.

Titus 2 was my devotional this morning.

"1But speak thou the things which become sound doctrine: 2That the aged men be sober, grave, temperate, sound in faith, in charity, in patience. 3The aged women likewise, that they be in behaviour as becometh holiness, not false accusers..."

The police do not have the right to tell people to "be quiet".

Where did you get that idea?

And he did call them tyrants prior to being tased, but from what I saw and heard not nazis until after they literally became nazis!

If that is not Anderson, then can someone please post the video RA said Anderson called the police tyrants so I can see if he needs an apology.
I have to get back to work. Maybe later.
These things take a LOT of time.
Please listen to the previous ones I've posted first.

What does it matter how many souls are saved if you then start filling their head with superstitious nonsense about one Bible being the only perfect preserved word of God? That's not discipleship, it's indoctrination.

I happened to meet a KJV only pastor that spewed so much hate about other translations that I was sure the man had a twisted gospel message....

Then....

I heard him giving instructions to his flock on reaching out to a bunch of lost youth that were going to attend a community event they were creating....and I was truly impressed with his instructions. (Very difficult to accomplish considering the circumstances)

And if you had never heard of his rants about all of the "Satan Bibles" you really wouldn't know by his instructions on how to speak and relate to the kids...it was like they were two different people.

I think Steven Anderson would destroy me if this was a bible bashing discussion. Having said that, I will concede MAYBE my understanding of capital crimes and the penalty of death is wrong...

My understanding is that Christ didn't come to "do away" with the old covenant, but to complete it and bring forth a new covenant. The old law still applies today, but some precedents have been changed; one being we no longer require blood sacrifices post the crucifixion of Jesus Christ (the ultimate sacrifice). The biblical precedent for this is found when Mary committed a CAPITAL CRIME and a group of people were about to stone her... Jesus told them "let any of you who is without sin cast the first stone" and stayed the execution. For this reason, the government shouldn't be executing practicing homosexuals... Instead, we should be telling them of their sin and praying for them to rebuke and forsake their sin by being reborn in the blood of Jesus Christ.

If I'm in error in my interpretation, I would love to be set straight on it (no pun intended lol).

It's not about the "book of the month club." It's about whether one translation of God's word is the perfectly preserved word of God. If that were possible, I'd be a KJV onlyist. But it's not possible and it's delusional to believe such a thing. It's just a delusional as saying Donald Trump can save us from all tyrants and all evils.

I mean I did watch the link you provided, he said he wanted to be crystal clear that he believes homosexuals should be executed.

Maybe he ALSO believes pedophiles should be executed as well, but he unequivocally said he believes homosexuals should be executed. He gave the Leviticus passage as his justification.

And I'm sorry, but that video of him screaming at his congregants that he is a man of God and if they didn't like what he says to GET OUT! That after tossing a new guy for asking for prayer.

Inexcusably awful behavior from any Christian, much less a Pastor.

Where is there any grace or love in his heart?

Soul winning doesn't matter if you're preaching a false gospel.

It doesn't matter to me if you don't like him,
He's obnoxious and arrogant, but so are a lot of TV evangelists. That's not my issue, his false preaching is.

I will and I will come back and post as I have time where he is wrong.

I disagree with homosexuality. I do not know the stats on how many are pedophiles. I would suggest that if a church has an outreach to homosexuals, to addicts, to others that may be of harm to children that that should be separate from regular church services. A weekly meeting, possibly at someones home so those who are truly interested can ask questions and learn.

In fairness to brother Anderson, he said time and time again that he does NOT believe that capital crimes are to be carried out by the churches. We are under grace since the time of Christs crucifixion. God is giving the world one last chance to get right with Him. We aren't Israel, we aren't living in a theocracy. Wheat and tares will grow together until the end.

One example of the hatred that was certainly due to the police of a nearby town....

I don't know about his church, although the listen to him so... He is running a cult. He does hate and he's pretty blatant about it.

In one of his "sermons" he says a woman should not say "Amen" in a service. He said a woman should not have a male doctor/gyno unless there is an emergency situation. I'm assuming he allowed that because his wife had trouble birthing twins. Moronic. He said women who are on the pill are whores. Apparently he's not smart enough to know that some women are on the pill for reasons other than sex. smh He said the best way to end AIDS is to kill homosexuals. Women, your job is to find a man to marry and bear children, keep that house, period. Just a few "gems" from Andersons sermons.

He was seemingly greatly and illegally mistreated in that incident, but he is still is a greatly misguided man in his teachings.

"Baited" the cops with his free speech?

If a cop says to be quiet and get off the streets, we MUST obey? Our civil liberties no longer apply? The irony, Nazis said they were "just following orders", but that didn't exhonorate them from the crimes against humanity that they committed.

You can't blame the pastor for the cop abusing his power.

There are some wicked people who have nothing but time on their hands to attack those who died in hope that their children would live in a free country. Likewise there's probably one out of a thousand preachers who will stand for the rights that God gave to us. This is one of those preachers. He wanted others to learn from his ordeal . Men like those above couldn't give a damn about the blood out forefathers shed.

Failure to Obey

Unfortunately, many pastors teach that you must love EVERYONE and must Obey EVERYONE who claims authority.
This is them from the pulpit trying to explain Romans 13:

Tried to look up a 3 dollar bill, and the second result was a queer bar (their term) in Brooklyn!

Mr Anderson would not be happy.
