Nothing could be clearer

This is what I have been saying, even if Americans are too stupid to understand the impact of no debt ceiling foreign countries and their treasury secretaries are not. Saudi Arabia is responding to the inflation of the US dollar by making sure the US pays a premium for oil while the rest of the world gets a discount.

I just received a letter from NY because I am in their pension program warning of a possible default, though they think the likelihood is remote :), and they mention the recent bank collapses. They mention possible "disruptions to the market" and that "there are many uncertainties facing our local and national economy".

It looks like something the lawyers would advise them to send out to lessen the liability should they default.

I have not received anything like these notices before.

India is the world's biggest exporter of rice. They have banned exports because of Russia bombing Ukraine's port and shutting down all Ukraine exports of grain and burned 60 tons of grain. Wheat prices shot up, and with this move by India you can be sure rice prices will also shoot up.

140 countries get their rice from India, 40% of the world's supply comes from India.

Germany and France are on the verge of economic collapse. If the rest of the world's economy were strong this would not be a big deal, but with famine looming and WWIII starting, this will be a collapse.

No that can't be true, Biden said the economy is stronger now than ever before. Biden has had to clear up a lot of misconceptions, remember when people thought the Hunter Biden laptop was real? He set us straight on that one with that letter from a bunch of retired CIA guys, people you can trust. Then there were those who wanted to give Trump credit for the vaccine, it was Biden who remembered that no one got the vaccine until after he became president. People try to blame him for Ukraine forgetting that he got us out of Afghanistan. People should just trust him like when he says the border is secure. He is a humanitarian, everyone knows he loves kids. That is why he stopped having kids in cages while we checked the DNA to make sure the men they were coming across the border with were their fathers. Instead he returned these little ones to the loving arms of the men who brought them to the US. No the problem is not Biden it is these greedy companies that keep raising their prices so that no one can afford their stuff anymore and these greedy banks raising the interest rates on loans.

True... true... But, you were not totally fair to the Biden. You forgot to mention what a great uniter he is. Only by calling half the country the enemy can you truly unite a nation.

Yes, I have missed so many great things in his resume, thanks for giving me a chance to correct that.

He was brilliant and finished at the top of his class in Law school, so don't listen to those saying he graduated 76th out of 85. Likewise think of all the times he was arrested because he was standing with those protesting civil rights abuses and how corrupt the police are for not keeping a record of those arrests. All this was accomplished from a guy who used to drive an 18 wheeler, apparently when he was joy riding. Golda Meir wanted him to be the liason between Israel and the Egyptians to help them avoid war. And don't forget this heroic figure was also arrested in South Africa trying to see Nelson Mandela. It is easy to see how this guy could claim 81 million votes, 12 million more than Obama.

He was... IS.. so great, voters popped into existence... the only candidate ever truly deserving of more votes than people.

Obama stepped out of a Greek colonnade. Biden should have stepped out of a fiery chariot. His unbound (and aforementioned) humility, no doubt, kept him from making such a grand display.

The name of this thread implies the greatest depression of all time is just around the corner. Greatest means even greater than the great depression. This thread is well over a year old. Have we seen anything even remotely resembling the great depression? There's a name for people who prophesy things that don't come to pass. Anyone hear of the boy who cried wolf?
